I had the same problem the other day, accidently I hit the out side of the switch housing with a hot wire and low and behold the darn thing started blowing. I don't understaned HOW it did but Im not complaining, the only problem is the hot wire is a dash light wire sooo, you guessed it the lights have to be on for the blower to work. I'll wire it correctly later. So shoot a hot wire to the switch housing (have a fuse in the hot wire) and see if the fans starts spinning. ds this is a 240Z BTW

But not Master (yet) that may take a few more years... After only 3 years and 8 months I finally have 500 posts... Now I'm not the kind of person that replies to each post everyday (heck I just learned how to post pics on the site the other day). I've learned more here than I've taught. I’ve loved, lost, and found my way again. I've worked on this car sweating, freezing, cussing, tired, hungry and on occasion intoxicated. (By fumes AND OR alcohol, heck mix em both together in an enclosed garage and WATCH OUT baby!!!) No not drunk off my arse doing brakes more like bench racing: I built my own engine (amazing what you can learn from a book and buy off e-bay), rebuilt my suspension (thank god for the exploded view in the MS&VB catalogs the first time I saw the rear end assy I'm thinking NO WAY will I be able to do take that apart and put in an R-200. Well I did. I had some physical help along the way; too my buddy Vince has been supportive of this crazy idea all along. He helped out with the install of the engine, some of the wiring and part of the front suspension. He's a hell of a guy and car nut. His current running build is a 240SX HYBRID which includes a turbo engine (Nissan SR20? I don’t know squat about turbos) which runs like a champ. To top it all off he lives 3.5 hours from my place!!!(I buy plenty of beer+food while he’s here though). Any way I'd like to just wanted to say THANKS to all of those who have helped along the way.

I took it apart as far as I dared. Inside there is a circuit board and the board is soldered to the housing, so with out breaking the weld that is a far as I could disassemble it. It shows a switch in my factory service manual but the wire colors are way off from what I've got. I just don't want to have to pull the dash after doing all this work. On a lighter note I got all the AM guages installed and wired up so the dash is just about ready to go back in. It's been out since early summer. I'm ready to start driving the car again and along comes winter, at least I got the heater core ready to pump some heat into the cabin this year. ds

Can it not be repaired? Go to a reputable radiator shop and have them look at it. Also check JY//E-bay//and folks parting out cars here. Also see zcar.com. Good luck, wish I could be more help. ds

Duct tape!!! Lowes would be a great start they have darn near everything. Just keep searching the store eventually you'll find it. Pipe plug=stopper for my in floor cooler on my boat, tough a hell, screws in and holds the ice and water to keep the brews cold!!! ds

Super job!!! Did you have to cut and weld on the fire wall, adding metal in the process? What did you do for tranny mount ie inside tunnel ala MS or JTR style or full on custom. ds
