  1. OK, if you have a vid (or can get one) of him "milking the snake" then by all means give him a copy. Mail it to him, at the business address to make sure he and only he gets it. When he watches it not only will he be humiliated but he will have to wonder who sent it to him. Never lead on. It’s not about the blackmail part but the mind game that you can play with this rube. His own mind will straighten him out (perhaps). Also review any company policy concerning use of computers and illicit websites. Then maybe forward a copy of the tape to the big boss along with quotes from the policy. Handle all material with latex gloves; do not use company printers or computers for any of the correspondence. Do not lick stamps; in fact mail the tape from another Zip code not the one you live in. You can mail vid tapes 1st class without going up to a window ie you can drop them in a BLUE box on the corner, make sure you put extra postage on and the address is clearly printed (no handwriting). You get the idea, cover your tracks, and do not co conspire with others on this project unless your willing to lose your job over their babbling mouths. Just my .02 worth d

  7. Uh it's David, Mick hahaha Anyway Mike good deal!!! I was looking at a covertible last year 6 speed vs. auto was making my head hurt. Drove them both, liked them both hit the rev limiter in the 6-speed car though oops, dealer didn't car too much for that Ultimatly I'd take either, auto's are a bit cheaper though. Then I came back down to earth and realized I need to finish up one car (the 240) before I get hooked on another, and I'm glad I did. Z's are nice, quick with the 350, but there has to be somthing said for new technology and newer cars. There is no way I'd drive my Z on a 4+ hour trip but a vette I would. Enjoy!!! David

  13. If your engine stand is like mine... 2 piece. Bolt the "holding" part to the back of the engine best done if it's in the back of a pick up with the tailgate down. Then slide the 2 pieces together, then lift it off the tail gate on to the ground. Simple. ds
  14. Jeromio... Yep washers... I'm a give you boys a little hint, you go installin' a T-5 behind a 350 AND rebuilin' that rear suspension, do yer self a little favor and leave those DAMN BIG ASS WASHERS OFF the top of the mustache bar!!! It took me around 8 hours to do the job (+/-), Had to drop the exhaust but did not have to drop the drive shaft . Did it all by myself, I even got the struts bolted up again by my lonesome with control arms attached, use a section of a 6X6 and a 4X4 as a lever, lifts it right up. SOB pulls HARD to 5500+ now with just a small vibe, will work that one out later. Now on to the interior!!! ds[/b]

  17. I looked at the stuff Lowes sell but it's much thinner that the JCW stuff you have listed. I bought the JCW sound deadener for the fire wall only and I'll tell you it works great (along with a layer of brown bread) go for it you'll like it. ds
  18. Doubt it's a U-joint, the drive shaft is fresh out of the shop with new u's installed. BUT I'll pull it and check it. I got the car up in the air (jack stands) on all 4 corners so I'll start investigating as time allows with Thanksgiving and all next week time will be too scarce to jack with the car too much till next Saturday. Anybody else???? ds
  19. I'd pass... If you have a good 240 that you want to convert, buy a low buck crate engine//JTR mounting kit//source a tranny and put it in. $4500 for a "rough" bodied Z with a 350 is not a deal. I found one similar to what you're describing for $2500 around here. ds
  20. OK been driving the car for close to a week just around town and such put 100 miles on it, about 150 total since the 350 was installed. I'm getting a helliatious vibration in the rear of the car past 3800 RPM's It's scarry, I can not drive it over lets say 50 miles an hour. Revving through the gears it shudder pretty bad as it's coming on the cam. Does this sound like the dreaded driveline angle issue to anybody??? ds

  22. Ok I'm driving a rev beast here... I've got a WC T-5 with a R200 rear w/3.90 gears. The car is super quick but it seems a bit unusable. I'd like to get a higher geared rear end. Questions are: If you are running a T-5 what rear end gears do you have? What is the optimal rear end for the T-5 based on the gear ratios of a WC t-5. Did the WC T-5 come with multiple gear ratios for 1st - 5th? Options? Opinions? Thanks, ds
