  2. Nikon. Alain Prost or Ayrton Senna
  3. Well I just rejetted my Webers for the altitude here and this is what I am running. 40DCOE18 33mm chokes 4.5 Aux Vent 50 pump bleed 45 accel pump jet 55f8 idle 135 mains 155 air corr The engine pulls like a raped ape past 2.5k, but is a little sluggish below that and will flat fall on its face if I nail the throttle. Part of it is the cam, and part is I need a smaller pump bleed. I could also try a 60f8 idle (tried a 55f9 and it is way to rich at cruise) and adjust with the idle screws. I am also going to ensure my throttle plates are set properly. I think once I get the differential ratio right for the tranny and engine combo...the carbs will come in nicely. Oh and I am running about 4psi by using a holly red pump fed thru the stock SU fuel rail, keeping the return line intact (no vapor lock here)
  4. As far as my engine goes, we shall see. As soon as I get settled down here a little more, I will be taking it to Silver State Motorsports to do some dyno tuning....my ass tells me I am making between 250-275 at the flywheel (than again I am getting old) Just curious what my kitchen table built 2.8l flattop w/ E-88 head (kitchen table ported with a dremel) Isky Cam and triples is gonna pull at the wheel.
  5. Eiji could easily shave off that half second with a better react time. He is great at crunching numbers but he aint the best driver in the world if ya know what I mean. That car is wicked fast and dead sexy to boot. He even re-designed the ENTIRE wiring harness for that car.
  6. Balki Threesome w/ Pamela Anderson and Erika Eleniak or all out orgy
  7. I might be interested in either one of those, PM sent
  8. Well we just moved into our new house in Vegas, and I have not finished setting the garage up yet, and have no pics (coming soon). But imagine if you will, 20' x 20' single door. Epoxy coated floor. shelf units down both sides. Standard Craftsman Rollaway toolbox (cheapest one they got). Home-made workbench (very sturdy). small fridge. water cooler. All of my datsun parts are in Rubermade clear bins.
  9. I think I will bite the bullet on the 110mm lsd and just pick up a 200sx diff.....lots of them available at wrecking yards
  10. In 1996, I put a 2.8l w/ flatop pistons mated to a n-42 head in my 72 Z. I then transplanted 75 fuel injection onto it. I got 28mpg highway and the car went like stink. Summer of 97 I drove the same car from Tacoma, WA to Montgomery, AL. I spent 3 days driving (Montana was a blast). It was a round trip affair and all I did was change the oil before and after. My current Z has a Flattop F-54 block with early E-88 head (thanks Sunbelt), Isky Cam, Triples etc. I drive it everyday (well almost) and would not hesitate to take it accross country.
  11. Why, what have ya got for me, I will pay shipping...lol
  12. BTW how did the diff work out. It has been over a year since you did this, and I am very interested in doing the same thing.
  13. Thanks J, and I resized the sig pic...btw what about it other than size???
  14. The problem with the truck is it also has a 115mm id ring gear. JMortenson....you know anyone with a 3.7 thru 4.11 r180 laying around?
  15. I already have a NIB Nissan 4pinion 110mm R-180 LSD....that is where the problem comes in. After 7/76 they went to the 115mm r-180. I have been looking for a 3.9 Subaru STI rearend and then get the stubs from John, but I have not been having much luck finding one (2004-2006 ZRX STI)
  16. Here is my situation. I have a 110mm r-180 lsd. I want to use a different gear set than I have. I can get a 4.11 set from source for cheap. The 4.11 gear set is 115mm i.d. Am I screwed in this deal and if so...anyone have a 3.7, 3.9, or 4.11 110mm r-180 laying around that could go to a good home (for a fee of course)
