Well crap, you know I install the tokico springs and struts about 6 months ago, and didnt notice this, this sucks! Now iI gotta check it and see what I did, hopefully they are at least both the same direction !!!!!!LOL

do yourself a favor and check your fusable links FIRST, try to recrimp/tighten them. Recently had ALOT of weird probs and EVERYTHING stoped when I changed them to the fuse block Mod! (77 Z)

just wondering what material is best to use for molding the fiberglass kits to the body! Had mine done and guy cant remeber what he used but it has never cracked and pretty flexable but not soft, it was sometype of sandable filler! Reason I,m asking is I have to redo the front spoiler due to having had to remove it to fit on a tow dolly! everything Ive tried cracks with very little impact/stress! but not the bluish looking stuff they used the first time!

Damn that sucks, I just rented a dolly form uhaul in Indiana on Monday to tow my 77 back to SC. FOR A 99 FORD RANGER, they did play the reese class III game over the bumper, but rented it!!!

well since we have all the "sound guy's" in here let me piggy back and ask this. What is the advantage of inclosing the sub. I just cut out a hole in the lugage area around the spare tire area and mounted mine without an inclosure, sounds fine but just wondering, it does affect my triaxles some times since they are not inclosed either.

have a complete set consisting of lash pad, rocker arm and adjustment bolt with ball head, think they came from a e88 but not sure, dont have a mic to check thickness!

had the son put his key in his 240 PART way and turned itpart way got same effects! B*tch to get it unstuck! tried everything all at once including wheel jerking and had to force it hard back to off, thought I was gonna snap the key but got it!

sounds more like mains to me, any idiea if everthing was plasti guaged when installed?

Hate to HIJACK a thread but this is along the same lines. Have a 77 280 motor that started smoking, head is fresh so beleive it is the rings, havent torn down yet. is there a measurement of sometype that I can take to see if JUST honing will be ok with rings and bearing replace or if it will need BORED. Or should I just byte it and take to a machine shop!

If you have a prob and end up screwing something up, let me know I have a comple motor with complete FI still mounted that I am getting ready to disassemble, its out of my 77, Im in Greenville

if you have the same setup as my 280 the fuel dampner was at the rear by the fuel pump by the gas tank, when I switched to a 260 motor and went to carbs I just took mine off and bypassed it!

Getting ready to build new Detached garage and looking for HINTS! First, Single , small house (1100sgf), 1 Z, 1 Work van, no other storage, 1/2 acre lot. Had (at old House) 28' x32' worked ok but seemed cramped sometimes. had one large oversized door think 20x9 but dont remember. Didnt like the door setup, seemed flimsy, had to jocky into garage sometimes. Thinking atleast as big for new, what kinda things would you Z heads do if you had to do it again! Dont wanna get to carried away, thinking of staying around 20,000 to 25,000. will prob Plumb water for sink and test area(work on alot of Ice machines). and of couse electrical.

straight up, mine were a bitch also, carefully put a flat head uner and twist it upward, stay real close to the shaft.

Dont need it anymore! Can it be removed without effecting any other harness or engine bay wiring (coil/dizzy wiring). Dont really want to cut it, someone may need it!

Here is another option for you guys! Find a local Tech school and go to the HVAC department and most will be GLAD to MONITOR their students and vacuum and charge it for you, most will have you pay for the refrigerant only! Cant tell you how many we did when I was an Instuctor!

Also there is a new one out called ONESHOT , havent used it but they are getting good reviews of it.
