I just received my complete RB26dett rear subframe (everything but the lug nuts... ) so I can take a look tomorrow for you. I also have a R230TT diff with axles in my shop I can try to compare the axles and the diff stubs. The diff in the Skyline rear sub is suposed to be the R200 CLSD short nose with the 6 bolt diff stub shafts right?? Here is one of the pics from the ebay auction..

For the diff side, I call them the diff stub shafts, and the stub axles for the wheel side. Once you get into the later diffs with CV's, it gets easier. Either the stub axles, for the wheel side, and the CV shaft for the diff side... Thats my termonolagy (sp?)

Yea... I noticed that to AFTER I hit the buy it now key.... I think they are still ok for the price but it pisses me of the way these suckers try and make a idiot out of you. How in the hell can they get away with advertizing them as GOODYEAR's in the header title, then later way down in garbled info change the brand to something else? Its a good thing for him I still may take them, cause he don't have a leg to stand on if I decide to tell him to go bang himself for that little shyster bait and switch auction header.... I may email him and offer to still buy them even though he did the bait and switch game, but him eat the $56 ship cost. How do you think that will go over with him/her? 99% of my purchases on Ebay, I pay instantly, but this time I'm going to wait a bit to see what he has to say... What would you guys do? just go ahead and pay the $499 + $56 to ship and call it a pretty good deal, or, try to play him for a discount due to the what I consider, false and misleading auction discription??

I just got this delivered today from a seller in NY. I won the whole rear drop, complete, from rotor to rotor... Now.... who's up for a tiny little bit of fab work? A easy, no brainer job for almost anyone, right.... Don't everyone step up all at once.... just kidding of course. I'll try to use up what ever I can off it.

All the online tire stores I've searched, not many have sizes over 275x40x17.

I ordered 4 lug rims so I can dump the 5 lug spacers. There are many guys with this size set up, so I'm taking their word that 275 rear and 255 front works. I hope I don't eat my words...

Would a 285 rear and a 265 front 40's be ok?

I know quite a few of you guys have rims close to the size I just bought, and have experince at what sizes go best with them. Again, we are talking 17x10.5 and 17x9 using coilovers ang ZG flares. I want a nice looking tread pattern, and them to be Z rated or maybe 1 step down if to exspensive. The 17's I now have on my car are Bridgestone SO3's which are more money than I want to spend now on tires. Mainly its the size I'm not sure of to go on a 9" and a 10.5" rim. Do I go for the stretched look, or the flush with edge of rim look? 40's, 45's or 50's?

I would look into SPEC brand clutchs way before I bought another CM clutch. You get a much beter product with a SPEC for way less than you'd spend on the clutch master. My clutch master blew up on James Thagard and myself while on the dyno in Fla. It was a brand new (aprox 1,500 mi) stage 3. The rivots that held the PP disc face on let go when we let off the throtle, and blew a nice hole thru the bellhousing. I called clutch masters up to let them know about it and they right away blamed it on me saying I must have down shifted from 5th to 1st by mistake to cause that kind of failure...

Well, its a done deal. I just got off the phone with John over at CCW, and I'm now in the waiting game... He advised me on the offset of > 17x10.5 at 5.5 BS 17x9 at 4.75 BS They may arrive before Christmas, or depending on the anodizing dept., maybe the first week of Jan. Yepie yahoo..... Now the next grand to spend..... tires...

Other than the GT-R diff, they are short nose VLSD's. I've heard the GT-R diff (1989-20xx) are short nose CLSD's. I will inform the board what John says once he returns the call. And...... Boo... MSA just emailed me stating they are out of stock on the CF ZG's and CF spoiler.... Maybe I should change over to fiberglass...??

I like it... are just the crome rings redone in red? or am I missing something??
