  1. The block should be marked L28 00123456 on the right side at the parting line of the head, right next to the oil filter. Thats the serial number of the block, and the designation ie: L24 L26 L28

  9. The R32 6 speed is news to me. If they did indeed make a 6 speed for the R32, there would be a market for those here to, to the Skyline boys. I don't belive there is such a animal except the R34 Gretag 6 speed
  10. R32 has a small oil pump drive on the crank, R33 was redesigned wider. Thats what the problem is, not the oil pump...
  11. If its rated for EFI presure, I can't see why not. It does appear to be kinda small but you can't always go by the pic. I'd have to read the discription before knowing for sure, but it looks like it should be ok.... This is the type I have. For the price, you can't beat it... PART # FRM-HPG1

  13. I heard that the SR20 bearings are the same... might want to ask around and see if this is truth or rumor. Good luck in any case...

  15. If I were rebuilding another RB motor, I'd probably go with these... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8017322614&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
  16. Have you not looked in the FSM and seen the different grade bearing shells and the #'s that match them? Its real simple to determine what you need by looking at the #'s stamped on the side of the rod and block for rods, and the crank and block for mains. I was also told by Sean Morris at RB Motoring that they are all so close in spec that you could really use any grade # in any rod or main and still be within spec of your avarage nissan motor. The question is, do you want it to turn out "spot on", or will you accept "close enough"?
  17. sir_daniel, I sure enjoyed looking thru this guys thread on rust repair on his 240z, even though I can't understand the language.... Is this guy someone you know? http://forum.zatzy.com/showthread.php?t=190127&page=75&pp=20
