What you see above (my tunnel) is all thats needed to install the RB25det trans into the series 2 tunnel (late 71 to 78. I belive there is pics of the series 1 tunnel (69ish to late 71) install in 240z master's thread.

I was thinking on installing mine facing foward also. I think with the foam, and it having its own small sump, it will be fine. As with anything you may use, if its on a almost empty tank, it could I guess, suck air. I will just make sure to not go lower than 1/4 tank...

unless you have a motor that was used with a auto trans, there should be a bronze bush in the end of the crank. if its a RB20 or 25 that had a auto trans, it won't have one.

You have good eyes Mike. Yes, thats my prestine 88 TSI with 60,000 old man miles on it. I bought it from my neighbor (in his sixties) who putted it around for 58,000 mi, then the fuel filter plugged up on it and he thought it was going to cost him a arm and a leg to fix, so, being the nice guy I am, I offered to take it off his hands for $800..... I changed the filter at the pump and varoom...... I'm waiting on some flares I won off Ebay before I put on the wheels. I returned the MSA CF ZG flares for a refund. They were pitifull... Yes, I do have coil overs. I trusted the owner John to advise me on the b/s, along with Mike (ON3GO). John has fitted many Z cars with the classic wheel, so I'm sure they will fit fine.

Thats exactly what I had in visioned.... My Conquest has fenders like that (not as dramatic).

If I have what your trying to describe correct, I'd say its like my Conquest fender bulges.... Or even like the Skyline rear fenders?? Or am I way off base...?
