  1. I was searching for another possible car to buy and came across a Lotus Europa when I saw the engine bay it looks to me like it has a pair of SUs on it. Is it just me or are those SUs on that engine? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lotus-Lotus-Europa-1972-Lotus-Europa-Twin-Cam-TC-Concours-and-RallyWinner_W0QQitemZ130124476508QQihZ003QQcategoryZ6312QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. If you need a second pair of hands I am off the next two days, and every Monday send me a pm and I will give you some contact information if you wish for help.
  3. I'm a long way from the border http://www.google.com/maps?q=Bonney+Lake,+WA,+USA&sa=X&oi=map&ct=title apears to be aprox 200km to the Canada border
  4. I hate to do this but I just blew a headgasket on my daily driver and may be using this situation as an excuse to finally swap the engine. I am unsure of what I seem to be doing wrong, so I am requesting that someone close to my location or willing to commute to here help me tune my Z so I will have a car to drive. I am only 19 so I am unable to offer beer as payment. thank you to anyone who is willing to help, I am off monday and tuesday so those would be the best days this week for this to happen the sooner the better for me.
  5. That could have been to the insulation wearing out in the housing, plus bare in mind that ovens cycle on and off so depending upon when you checked the temperature it could have been much higher if that oven was very innacurate
  6. About the keeping the oven at temperature, one method of removing hot and cold spots from ovens is to put more mass in them sometimes in the form of pizza stones or unglazed ceramic items sometimes bricks. I have no idea how this would affect powdercoating but the items act along the lines of thermal capacitors the only downside is much much much longer heat up times. Never trust a built-in oven thermometer
  7. Then what am I supposed to do for my midlife crisis if I cannot purchase gas for cars? I'll just scare any future owners if they ever exist by showing them an example of the how strong my glasses are.
  8. Are you looking for the kind that rotate 360 degrees (ie lazy susan) or the ones that rotate a set amount and then return?
  9. Aim: kiltenone Yim: kilten_one msn: kilty_0@hotmail.com name is Ryan
  10. for me it would be a cheap one from Office Depot as I have easy access to them, and if i screw it all up I will have no remorse. Idealy speaking I will make a better one out of a solid wood later on but this would be a test run as apposed to something for a final product.
  11. I make no claims to be an expert and anything even close to it, but the only thing that I can think of that would cause any validity to this idea would be from cooking, the type of pan one uses greatly affects the outcome of the dish, especially in baking. I cannot remember the exact effects off the top of my head and I will edit this to include the effects when I can remember their location, though I recall that the only information regarding this situation was not related to colour rather to finish and metal though the colour of one of the matte metals was mentioned somewhat.
  12. Hmm... sounds to me like its time to pester my father about procuring the next desk to go on sale or clearance for a good price at Office Depot (he is the manager of one an Office Depot). If I find one that could work for this sort of a project with some ease for a decent price I will place a link from the Tech-Depot site for others benifit (Office Depot online offshoot will almost always be cheaper to shop in the stores though). I'm thinking we can do something about the magnetic shielding issue, with as much experiance and creativity regarding cars a desk should be a cake walk, heck to anyone who actually helps me with mine once I can spare the funds for it will litterally get a cake for their help.
  13. ... just another reason why I avoid that interchange like the plague.
  14. If you weren't already thinking this is a scam or joke http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZ2000catlover all the cars at the same price, started at the same time, and with the same number of bids from the same "people"
  15. If I can either get the time off or happen to not be working I'm willing to drive down to attend.
  16. It aparently had some mold on the interior and sold for $400
  17. This is not my car nor will I receive any money from its sale, but at my work tommorow there is aparently an auction of cars, one of which is a Red 280ZX, there are a few other cars most of which I dont recall. I dont know what time the auction starts but I do know that we open at 7am (ish) and we are usually open untill the auctions end, though I think that if you came at 9am-10am you should be either early or just catching the begining. the ZX is lot number 109 but it looked to me to be towards the begining of the numbers. The auction is in Enumclaw, WA; email me at kilty_0@hotmail.com if you wish to attend and I will supply you with directions as best I can
  18. I was checking over this situation via some of the forums, and the story has hit the news. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_ypahWCNoc
  19. If they make them in clip on form I will look into picking up a pair for myself, though when shopping for polarized bring a polarized lens with you to check to make sure it truely is polarized. just place them up to each other so you can see through them both and rotate one untill you can no longer see through it.
  20. Well to me it looks like a steel verison of the nice wide cast iron grates on nice BBQ's.
  21. I'm fairly certain that I'm wrong about the grill but to me it almost looks like some grates from BBQs.
