  1. Very rare item for the U.S agreed, and a neat clean manifold but the TB is VERY small...here is one I photographed when I was visiting a Japanese engine importer while away on vacation: Yasin
  2. Thanks for posting, I had those saved on my hard drive and lost them once I got that damn blaster worm virus....now I can upload again! Yasin
  3. Nice swap and excellent price.
  4. Love the Maxima on the graytech website! Not too often do you see one in such great condition let alone with a L28ET! Yasin
  5. Aux - Nice IC! I like your cardboard cut out! LOL
  6. Absolutely beautiful!!! Wow....I am envious. Anymore details on the intake and which TB are you using? Yasin
  7. I am running a 45mm TiAL (good to over 500hp apparently) wastegate which has the four bolt flange identical to the Porsche 944 Turbo....its an expensive unit, but its much lighter than the Porsche unit, plus its beautifully constructed and has a reputation that puts it at the fore front for all external WG units. I will be upgrading the spring soon to a 12psi soon. Should be fun. Please note the 944 Turbo was extremely reliable. Here it is next to my old 944 Turbo WG: Yasin
  8. Awesome and congrats! Hope to hear more updates soon.
  9. I have quite a few pics of a SR20DEt swap into a Roadster that I can upload. Great combo, awesome power to weight
  10. Chewie - I sympathize with you as I see you are located in Michigan...harsh winters, damp moist climate, salty roads in the winter...so chances of finding a rust free Z ZX is almost non-existant. I lived in Ontario, Canada for over 15years and see what a few winters can do to perfectly good car. If you are set in restoring that car and you are a great welder and hand person, then go for it...otherwise spend the extra $$ and get a clean rust free car from the West, Florida, Texas etc etc... You have a LONG, UPHILL battle to fight to bring that car back, but good luck if you have your heart set on it. Yasin
  11. You can use a -4 or -3 size...but either way you will need an oil restrictor inline otherwise you will blow the oil seal out of your turbo. I did this upgrade to my ZXT this past summer, you can check out the pics here: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=4811102&uid=504386 Yasin
  12. John - I have had problems with my Borg Warner since I got my ZXT, I eventually got frustrated with it two years ago and pulled it out and gave it away for FREE! I then went to the scrap yard got a regular 5speed for $60 out of a fairly low mileage 2+2 and it shifts perfectly and like butter...hot or cold. I have no regrets putting this tranny in, I had reservations to be honest (initially), but it is holding up perfectly - could not be happier. Yasin
  13. Could not resist....went to visit my good friend who owns this incredible fabrication shop and luckily had the digi cam with me...typical British Sports car...LOL Enjoy! The 280ZX Turbo is mine...[] Yasin
  14. This is not on a BW T5...just a regular 5speed guys. Thanks for the replies so far. Yasin
  15. Wow -6 is huge for fuel on a street car anyway. Yasin
  16. Stony...Looks great! Love it...nice work on the manifold (both). Yasin
  17. Hi Gang - I have a 5speed with over 167,000 miles that has a 2nd gear that has to be nursed in, all other gears are perfect BTW. I am sure that if I blend some synthetic with regular 75W90 it will help...has anyone experimented with this type of concoction. Or should I run just straight Amsoil Redline Synthetic? When the tranny is cold..it is worse. I replaced the tranny oil a few weeks ago with brand new Valvoline Performance 75W90 and it did not really help. Luckily the old oil did not have any metal shavings suspended. Would love to hear some feedback. Thanks - Yasin
  18. I forgot you had that project S12 Mike...what's up with it?
  19. I assume you mean an Electronic Boost Controller? As a manual boost controller goes inline on the rubber line out of the internal wastegate Yasin
  20. There is absolutely No way the stock Mk3 core is the same as Spearco....not even close my friend. Yasin
