Rob, it should be three wires black, blue and yellow if I recall. You need to splice it into the main harness plug, IIRC. It's good to get the plug the FI harness goes into to so you don't have to do this. You need to read up some more.
You tried everything I would try. I would now send the unit back to Haltech for a diagnostics. Have them check it out. Maybe even send your laptop and say make it work.
Just brought the car home tonight. Screwed my knee up too! Such is life.
When you say wiring harness the whole chasis harness or just the A/C harness if there is such a thing. I'm not running heat.
Doh! I saw that again and again, but when I read it as "Hybrid Z Rules View New Content" not "Hybrid Z Rules" "View New Content".
It makes sense that there would be new Content to the HybridZ Rules!
For blind folks like me would there be any advantage to moving these apart some and or underlining them as links?
I know we have the Recently added topics view off the main page, but I really miss the lastet post or today's message links we used to have.
Can the advanced search be used for this if wildcards were enabled? I think it could be a viable solution if it could be.
Or am I missing the today's message link posted somewhere? It seems like post count is lower than normal. I'd hate to think the SW had something to do with it.
Jeff
I couldn't take it. Many tries. Maybe if I had a nasal only mask. I would wake up and feel almost claustrophobic for some reason. I'd rip that sucker off for the night and try again the next.
Are you overweight? I went to an ENT Dr. and he wanted to cut this out and rip that out and I was like what?! I said I didn't have this problem when I was 50Lbs lighter. He said, I lose more patients that way! So I lost 50Lbs! To me it was a win, win situation.
Has anyone tried adapting a 280z A/C system into a 240z? I can get all the components from a stock 76 280z.
I found this topic, but not sure if anyone has actually done the swap.

I found it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/280Z-Fairlady-Z-car-Turbo-Adaptor-T3-flange_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2eab926221QQitemZ200446992929QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
That is for the N42 stock exhaust manifold I think. I don't car for the design that much but I'm sure it works.
I'll sell my Complete Turbo Block and Head for $500 delivered. I'm not sure why I'm selling it as I will need it eventually, but I can always find another one, I hope . P90 head of course. The donor call I pulled it from had 125K on it.
It will give me a reason to give Juan a visit.
I'd like to see the car painted normal first to determine body style. It's almost painful to look at. It's got that "Stealth" fighter look to it. I think a flat black with highlights would have really set the lines off.
Ah didn't think about that. I would think that would be solved with "keying" the valve no? Or do you think that would increase the wear on the valve or the seat to much?
I was browsing the jy the other day and looking at all the heads laying around. I'm curios as to why their shape is always round ? Is this due to machining and maintenance issues? Some valves are so small I wonder why they don't use a larger egg shaped design? From a surface area perspective I would think a larger egg shapped valve would be easier no?
I guess I'm most curious as to why round only? There could be much fewer parts with a oval shape and still close to the same flow no?
Just thinking. You guys can tell me to stop anytime!
Please forgive spelling. On iPhone at dr. Office.
