  1. Sammy, check grounds again. Look at page 6 and 7. Test each resistor with an Ohm meter. I'm thinking you should check ground from the negative side of the injectors to the chassis, as well as to the ECU, If I'm reading this correctly? If you plug everything back in and look at page 20, there is a schematic. You should be able to test the entire system from the plug going into the ECU. It gives you the pin #'s and everything on Page 20. Also scope out page 33. Do the check on the power relay. Actually print the whole darn book out and do all the checks in the book from top to bottom!
  2. Paul, he's not getting power to the injectors for some reason. We can run the entire car off the cold start injector alone. We unplugged each injector one by one and the car still idled great. Remove the cold start injector plug and she dies. I was under the impression the CS valve was only supposed to squirt for the first 12 seconds and then no more? I left as we were running out of light.
  3. I hate you! Just kidding. I see this work all the time at work. My quote was 1500 labor here in Orlando when I looked at having my Z fixed. I can find fairly straight, complete cars for that kind of money.
  4. At the bottom of this page: http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/EFI&fuel.htm or http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/efisystem/280zfuelinjectionbook.pdf Same one??
  5. You did read through this thread correct? http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=99620
  6. I'm very greatful to live in such a great country, to be sober now for close to 11 months, present for my family and the abiltiy to be part of such a great forum! Have an awesome Thanksgiving!
  7. Well I was shocked, I got an amazing amount! $37.25! I spent at least $30 on blades and I'm sure the difference in electricity running the saw, but the car is gone! Minus the hood and hatch, the weight came in at 620Lbs if anyone is curious.
  8. I loaded the parts into the back of my truck tonight. The nice thing is, it is just barely coming over the top of the bed. Loading was very easy and quick, no back pain and no more pile in my driveway. Looking forward for my $25.00 i'm going to get!
  9. Did you do the test on page 32 of the EFI Bible?
  10. Geese, you let him off easy! You should have let him sweat it out for awhile! Maybe a nice dinner! Just kidding of course. Glad it was easy.
  11. I'd be willing to sell the one I have from a 280zxt. $50 shipped.
  12. Wow! That zcarsource one is expensive.
  13. I was thinking about this and you are likely right. I was concerned that the re-cyclers may have an issue with it being a car and not take it. I did find that cutting certain small pieces out first made the next few cuts much easier though. Florida passed a law that no JY can take a car without a title. When I took my last car to the JY this year with a title, they took my DL#, finger print and even took a picture of me! Kinda extreme but I guess when steel prices were so high, lots of theft was going on.
  14. Lots of hidden rust on this beauty. I got all the front window molding off very easily except the top one. The windsheild itself came off pretty easy but was a lot of work. I was hoping to save it as a spare but either I cracked it or it was already cracked in the corner. I'm not looking forward to the rust repair I have to do on my ZX around the windshield.
  15. The first few cuts were fun, then it became a bunch of work.
  16. ..., you chop it into tiny little pieces to bring to the scrap yard! All with a Sawzall. I learned a bunch taking this thing apart and cutting it up. The ZX are very simple to work on. I was really amazed at how well and how much steel was used in the roof sections, but so little was used in the frame rails themselves. The pile is the entire car minus doors, hood and two front fenders. Just the metal. Those will be added soon!
  17. Your sick man, very sick! I also have this disease!
  18. Cool, glad it got there nice and quick.
  19. It does not like those 4 words, "stock turbo fuel pressure", without the quotes. I can repeat the process with those 4 words. It won't fail with, "stock turbo fuel lines".
  20. If you have 6 hours to blow sure! Good in a wierd way. Ending seems kinda strange to me.
  21. Is the entire thing made up in his head?
  22. Anyone watching and feel like they've droped a few tabs of acid! My gosh is it hard to follow!
