  1. You have little to no shoulders on any of those roads. That is tight and the trees are so very close! Yikes! Love the scenery though.
  2. Clive, would a 77 or 78 splash pan be the same?
  3. I have an extra Automatic Transmission that I would like to store from my 280zxt parts car. What is the best method for storage for potential future use? Is it best to leave the fluid in? Drain including torque converter? Searched but did not find anything.
  4. The comercial made it look interesting. AWD also. Didn't see a curb weight. Thoughts? http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/taurus/specifications/engine/
  5. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=154043 http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=101766 http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=141533 First thread is LS1 cost. Others were some interesting reading, at least to me. Google search works awesome. Much faster and no need to wait the 15 seconds.
  6. I'm thinking that it would be better to crimp the line after the NP - valve, proportioning valve, as to not lose any fluid via the valve to the rear. Thoughts?
  7. I don't. The front barely dribbles out, the rear was doing nothing until I realized the soft lines were off. I was trying to bleed the whole system and couldn't figure out why no fluid was moving to the rears.
  8. There are no rear soft lines! The soft lines have rotted away and the hard lines are rusted tight. (I already snapped a rear hard line.) I have no title and the car is a rust bucket. She will be cut up...
  9. The line off the MC to the rear right? I don't recall if there is a proportioning valve in the ZX or not but it should not impact anything?
  10. The rear brakes are absolute trash and I dont want to spend any money on the car. Can I simply block off the main line from the MC going to the rear and have just front brakes only? Is there a simpler way? I got the motor running in this parts car and now I want to see if the trans is any good. I'd like to keep the trans as a spare.
  11. Man, I like the U-pull website, but there inventory is NEVER accurate. I searched for the car you mentioned and didn't find it. How were the bumpers on that car?
  12. I would agree, however, the consistancy does not make sense. I could see getting 30 PSI on some cyl and more or less on others, but not across the board if it were ring releated.
  13. It would be free. Tell me what you want shot? 1.5 from either Tampa and 2 or so from Ocala. There is rust, not going to try and kid you.
  14. Even better news! Compression test tonight yielded a solid 145 across the board. So the only conclussion I can determine is there wasn't enough oil pressure? Other thoughts?
  15. Congrats! I LOVED when my wife was pregnant. Hormones were VERY even for the entire 9 months!
  16. If you feel like running down to Orlando, I'll let you cut whatever you want off the parts car I have. It will help me because I have to cut it up anyway.
  17. It does not like the terms, stock turbo fuel pressure, NGK plug worked fine.
  18. I kept getting a fatal search error: Then I tried to upload the image and I got a note stating that it didn't like my photo type *.bmp ??? Since when...
  19. It runs! Never did get another gauge or check it on another car, but she runs! Tank was so rusty it was scary. Had to hook up another pump altogether. I new it would run! Yeah right! Need to change the plugs and check for vacuum leaks. The hoses were so dry rotted in some spots.
  20. The WOT test added nothing. I'm going to check my other Zxt w/the same gauge and check the results. A little oil squirt also added no additional PSI.
