  1. I've decided not to do this because of exactly what "Jon 74 260Z". The math doesn't make sense in the long run. The 12K difference is a 1.5% origination fee plus all the closing cost rolled back into the loan. I can continue to make the payments even struggling. If I were to lose my job, I couldn't pay either payment.
  2. Current House Loan Owe 293K Interest 5.625% No PMI Mntly Payment $2270.00 Refinance using Obama Loan Plan Owe 305K (Includes 1.5% origination fee and closing costs) Interest 4.625% No PMI Mntly Payment $2057.00 Pro’s Saves $213 per month which would help No PMI w/ refinancing even though I would be at 83% loan to value Only req. to refinance is 12 continual mortgage payments Supposedly this is a standard loan, which won’t impact my Credit Score or the sale of the house in anyway if I need to resell. I was thinking of taking the $213 and making additional principle payments against the loan Only out of pocket is $400 processing fee Con’s Government says my house is worth 351K which I know is not true. My opinion is it is worth 275K. 12K addition on top of what I owe already (Over 30 years this equates to $22,210.83) Restarting of the loan again If I need to sell my house in a pinch, it is 12K less I would get at closing In general if I lose my job, regardless of what my payment is, 2057 or 2270 I’m screwed either way, I’ll need to sell it ASAP Comments No debt other than my house payment and one car payment ($378 per month) No savings other than my 401k and 1K in cash I'm thinking another 10 years in the house only Current loan is 30 year w/ 26 left, new loan would be 30 year
  3. I have a set also not in the best shape. I don't need them now. $55 is what I paid for them from the JY. Just trying to recoup what I paid. http://album.hybridz.org/data/500/280zxtaxles.JPG
  4. Day light look and nada. Anyway, wrong thermostat, wrong direction and stuck open! What a difference a thermostat makes. The low end torque improved tremendously once up to operating temp. Test drive I blew the heater hose. I think the radiator is next to go on the list. I'm also leaning toward a blown head gasket as well. Time will tell.
  5. Yes it is. There were no ZXT manifolds w/out the EGR that I'm aware of unless it was from a non-US designation.
  6. You can use them but they need to be modified pretty extensively. Search, around the site there are many write ups on them.
  7. Splash shield isn't on. I thought maybe it broke off too. Maybe someone put a different radiator on it?
  8. I was trying not to get messy! I know where it was supposed to be, I just didn't see it. Looks to be the auto radiators are different then the Manual. The manual 82 ZXT I dismantled was right there in the middle. Minor set back but oh well.
  9. Sorry for the newbie question, but I was stumped. I'm assuming due to the auto trans cooler they didn't mount it on the bottom because it's not there on mine and the pic in the FSM doesn't show it either. Does it exist on the radiator? I looked for awhile to no avail. If it's not there do they expect us to drop the lower radiator hose to get the fluid out? I was hoping to do a quick thermostat change with as little mess as possible. Thanks!
  10. You need to put what year car your looking for. May help you and others!
  11. LOL, this one uses tons of oil also. I just cant figure out where it is going. Little to no smoke and on a few drops on the ground here and there.
  12. Did you unplug and re-plug all the wires to the ECU?
  13. Movie was great except for two scenes, I didn't care for the kitchen seen were Bryan and the sister just start going at it. She's crying and upset and he's just going to walk in and start getting some? Yeah, right??? Seamed out of place the whole scene. The other scene was almost the end when the car Bryan drives comes sideways out of the tunnel and rolls and flips. They show it upside down and the entire car is missing a bunch of parts. The Big one was the drive shaft! Yikes. Toss up between this one and Tokyo drift. I liked Tokyo drift alot. They seem to be doing the Star Wars theme with going back in time and making the prior movies to what has already happened.
  14. I picked up this 82 ZXT, well it is a true turbo car, however, the block and head are not a ZXT motor. P79 head and not sure of the block. Anyway, it runs pretty decent but not great. So for kicks today, because I just picked the car up this past Wednesday, I decided to check the plugs and do a compression test. All were fine except #3. The gauge didn't budge! I took the gauge off and put my finger over the hole and I could barely feel a thing. I pulled the plug wire completely off the car and unplugged the injector. It runs EXACTLY the same as before, maybe a little better. Because the motor is not a true ZXT I don't care about it. If it goes, it goes. Anything wrong w/ this? Any additional harm that can be caused? I do get some knock once on full boost but otherwise okay. I am enjoying the crap out of driving the automatic. T-Tops are the bomb too. My wife even enjoyed going for a ride in it. She calls it my Roach car!
  15. Only sellers can't leave negative feedback, buyers can do either.
  16. So what happened? Did you find one?
  17. Is it one of these? If not I don't have it. http://album.hybridz.org/data/500/280zxtS.JPG Damn I need to Organize my parts better! Did you make your cut off date?
  18. Looks like you need to ensure it is grounded well. Last thread: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=107349&highlight=Fuel+pump+control+modulator http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=87302&highlight=Fuel+pump+control+modulator http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=85320&highlight=Fuel+pump+control+modulator
  19. You don't have to use it, from my reading, you can wire around it. I may have one if I didn't toss it.
  20. WTH does it look like and where is it mounted?
  21. I have Hagerty. 5K Limit per year. Supposed to drive to and from events or weekend type stuff only. No work, no mall shopping, etc., but for $125 a year you can't beat it. I don't daily drive mine so no big deal.
