I don't think the ZX's came w/ a clutch switch. The clutch is going to the floor because the slave cylinder or the Clutch cylinder on the firewall are bad or both. For kicks bypass the ignition key altogether and bump it off the starter. Just make sure it is in neutral first. You sure you didn't blow any fuses and have the right amperage in the new fuse block? You didn't cross any wires by mistake? Do you get any key buzzing or dash lights on when you turn the key to the accessories position?

I may have mis-read that but the auction looks to be t3 to t3, not t3 to t4 if the turbo he has, has a t4 flange. I think the application of that part is just for adding a wastegate using a t3 flanged turbo.

My question as well. Create a niche market. Do something different that would be unique, no one else has and no else has came out with. One thing I always wanted was some sort of spring mechanism that would allow me to ollie better. Kind of add to the height of my horrible trys! Also improve ride quality. I still think a velco system on the deck / shoes would be stellar. The snow boarders have bindings and all why not skateboarders. Not great on the street but half pipes and pool riders would be incredible to watch.

Searched but didn't find much. How difficult is it to change the timing belt on this car. Service manual seams to make it pretty easy, but getting at everything and frustration level is not mentioned! Thanks!

Curious if your tranny guy raced his Z too? What problems did he have? Not bashing you but is it possible you are being to ruff on the tranny?

Adam, Is this what you are trying to do? You have 3 & 6, but need 1,2,4 & 5 right and the two connecting bolts?

Can rarely go wrong w/ a Honda for a daily driver. BMW's cost to much to fix even if you do it yourself (parts).

Why not put a low pressure pump in the rear to pump gas to a surge tank mounted in the front, then run a high pressure pump from the surge tank to the fuel rail. The return line from the surge tank can the be hooked to the 1/4" emissions vapor line. Jeffer949 did his this way and you can use a lot less high pressure hose, have a surge tank to avoid fuel starvation and have a lot less work running new fuel line if you ever decide to up the HP rating you are shooting for.

The good news is the car sold for $1500.00. However, today's lesson was get everything in writing if you try and broker a vehicle. 50% of something is better then 100% of nothing. He originally told me he wanted $350 for the car. I asked him if I could sell it for him and give him $500 and I keep the difference which he agreed upon. Somehow, today, he decided that the deal was now he wanted $500 for the car and 50% of the profits over $500. The reality of this was his wife never seen until today. Little bit of an influence. The entire deal almost went south and there was no point in arguing even though all of my negotiations was with him. So I only made $500.00. I'll take it! I also bought an 82 280zxt complete for $350.00 from him. This one I do have in writing!
