  1. What does this have to do with the thread? As for the original question, would you be using the SUs if you go carbs? Heres a few links. Ones EFI, ones carbs. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=136423&highlight=dum-bass http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=153777&highlight=supercharged+l24 And as mentioned, search some more. The stuff is out there. As for your power goals, 500 whp will take alot of work. It wont just be a matter of bolt it on and turn up the boost.
  2. Is the BOV vented to the atmosphere? Im not sure how having both a BOV (if it is vented to the atmosphere) and the orginal recirculation valve would work. One thing for certain, you dont need both.
  3. Stirling or pulse jet? You can always look into the thermodynamics of them. Also whats your intented major Ryan? I looked up PLU and it mentioned 2 years at that school along with 3 at an engineering school... just curious how that works. Would you transfer to UW, WSU, or GU or some other 4 year? Do you have a degree after 2 years at PLU, I saw it mentioned something about a physics minor.
  4. Might consider switching back the the original pressure recirculation valve, the thing screwed into runner 4.
  5. Stirling engines are cool as well.. ill have to get a picture of mine.
  6. Yeah didnt look like she was using much accuracy in putting the paper down/measuring.
  7. You mentioned the air cleaner wasnt getting air as well as what I understand as your engine is over heating? (correct me if I misinterpreted it) So is it both, or just one? Not enough air in the intake v. through the radiator.
  8. I bought it guys. I took out a loan.
  9. Strotter nailed it. Might even apply that to facebook a little...
  10. Ive seen pics of quite a few of these. They all disgust me.
  11. That wasnt what he was asking about but I have to say, you really need to remove that grill mesh... no matter what you do to the rest of the car, thatll still look bad... Just drill out the spot welds on the find piece and itll come right off. As stated, the fin will pretty much cover the 240z bumper and/or interfere with it.
  12. 1997 Bentley Continental R What your gonna sell your Bently for $4000??
  13. "But he's got high hopes... he's got high hopes. He's got high apple pie in the sky hopes!"
  14. Yeah to make an airdam in reasonable time would need something like an english wheel or perhaps even one of the phuematic hammers. Im sure you can do it the way with wood and hammers but it might take a while. What are you thinking about conceptually.
  15. Sorry, its Cold Fusion. Two words.
  16. Haha, they blew up a turtle and got animal cruelty?? I imagine the turtle was in tons of pain for the 1/1000000000th of a second it took for its body to be blown into a million pieces. Poor turtle. Good they caught the guy.
  17. I guess just imagine the Z along side an original Charger...
  18. Wow, looks awesome! The Z sure is small..
  19. Yeah the rust sealant wont do much good on the bondo since the bondo isnt what rusts.. the metal would still rust just like a normal bondo on metal car.
  20. Well I was assuming youd take MSA's and Schneider's advice and replace the other components as well. Springs, lash pads, rocker arms. Personally Id pull the head to do those...
