  1. so i got me a donor S130 ( 82 ZX turbo ) as a donor if i want power steering and a better steering angle what do i swap over into a 72 ? what parts do i need or what if anyone has a link to a power steering conversion or whatever hit me up guys thanx alot.
  2. i mean donor cause im not looking to spend much at all. anywhere below the $800's i dont need running car i would prefer it with NO ENGINE and NO TRANNY. and ofcoarse with as little or no rust as possible. but it HAS to be a 72. ive heard those are the good ones "overall"
  3. anybody got a 1972 SHELL. clean title and pinkslip ? got me a turtle engine to go into it.

WHERE THERE's A WILL, THERES A WAY you can definetly make that puppy shine. personally before i got into what i "do" i used MOTHERS MAG CREAM polisher. it works miracles. i used to do it by hand tough. and yeah i know what youre thinking " damn sore hands and fingers anyone ? " yeah but it got a nice shine to it. once you do the first pass with mothers adn get it nice and shiny. grab cotton. get it damp with rubbing alcohol. and clean the valver cover as good as you can to remove any leftover mothers chemicals and dust. and REPEAT mothers polish. the second coat you might not think is necessary but if you ask me i noticed a difference. THEN its up to you wether or not you want to grab some rustolium CLEAR and spray a coa or two of clear so you dont have to keep polishing it over and over again. GRANTED the clear coat MIGHT chipp off due to heat or NOT. but its what i would do do yo thang bro, post some pics and let us know how it went.
  5. thats a Negative. and g0d Damn. i HOPE it doesnt cost near that much to get them doen in the first place :/ i mean im sure there are people who do their own carbon fiber pieces underground that make parts for themselves but dont mass produce to sell that could start this thing going. so we dont go to the "big bois" companies that charge an arm and a leg for a CF arm rest lmao. like i said. i know if they made a CF 280Z hood id dig it. 240z hood aint cutting it. i need the heat to come out of that engine bay so 280z is da only way il go with CF. the rear panels on almost all Z's are craked. it would be nice for some CF affordable ones to be made. they shouldnt be much of amission to make as the shape is pretty straight forward nothing too fancy. MOTION!
  6. yes my friend... they indeed would be mad if they only knew surprizingly enough most of the peeps want me me to do work on their aluminum parts have been people ion the east coast. or black dudes here in san diego ( no harm or offense meant) common peeps.. we al know how we all love that bling thanx for the support guys yeah polishing has never really been child's play but the right tools really make things alot faster for some of us. personally id hate to sand down and rub rub rub on something for days to make it look half as good as the ones ive shown OH! speaking of wich. here's another TEASE and NO they're not chromed

What is that oil relocation thing for ? what are the advantages of it or what ? im wanting to learn as much as i can abou twhat peeps do to their RB25det's since i am saving up to do a S30 project hopefully i can get my hands on a RHDS30 by then. but eh! its always good to know about what you're gonna be working on.
  9. ok so i read about it and im puzzled as hell as to how to make that custom made cable with the 240sx part. Is there anybody who could make it for me ? and how much would you charge me ? i will be running an RB25det in the nearby future. so i think i should be able to go into electrical speedometer without the conversion with that engine. but il be running the L28 series engine in the meanwhile.

Hey guys. so i got a cobalt tach that il be putting in the dash where the stock RPM goes in the 240z. i want matching gauges all around so i will be getting me a autometer Cobalt speedometer. ive been told only electrical ones are sold which is a problem since our rides are mechanical. anybody got an idea of how im gonna have to get this one running correctly and accurately. i HAVE researched in the little few forums i know about Z's but no luck any help would be appreciated. thank you guys.

  13. I have a 72 240z i am currently building the car for DRIFTING. hold your comments or your opinions about whether or not you think i should or not . all i want to know is . WHAT DO I NEED TO GET from WHAT CAR to make my ride have power steering. And how can i achieve a more aggressive steering ANGLE as i will be getting sideways. if any of you have any experience customizing a Z for drifting your help would be very welcomed. any help would be appreciated thanks guys.

Not sure if its a good idea to place ellectrical components that can produce a SPARK next to the fuel lines & pump. you NEVER KNOW. someday the line might rip/break or a bit of gas of whatever is left over and BOOM gor yourself fire under the hood. just a thought seen plenty of cars catch on fire on the freeway. oil & gas dont get along well with the smallest of sparks haha.

So im planning on doing an RB25det swap into my S30 anybody know where i can find a dvd wiring installation, or a swap video. or guide for the wiring. or the FULL SWAP instructions ? any: Links Videos Manuals/guides any help would be appreciated. id hate to pay for someone else to do what I can do myself. the mechanical is CAKE. but the electrical is what i need to find. thanx guys
  16. haha naw its alright me and a cousin MIGHT get teh 69 with the mikunis, rollcage, etc etc etc this friday if he's down. but il keep posted. and post up pics of the car once we get it IF we get it as well as other pics of cars he has incase anybody is interested and wants to save the drive there.

  19. thanks guys i decided i will be going fuel injected. might spend a little more for the whole set up but at least i can rest assured i whont need to worry as much about running lean. or adjusting the carbs and detonating my engine as much.

My dumb ass brother got arrested for some stupid ♥♥♥♥ he did and BOOM there goes half my $ to help bail his ass out. so i need to save up again before i can go up there and buy the cars i was bringing back home. Eric's a really great guy. unfortunatly it seems peeps have taken advantage of his kindness so that sucks. he has a great Turbo car. about 3 280zx's NA's, 10 240z., 3 or 4 280z 1 or 2 260z. hes not asking for much either. wanted like 600 for two cars ♥♥♥♥ like that. o well. i guess it wasn'nt mean to be for me

FYI i already went to go see the cars. and he does have about 4 or 5 nice ones worthy of EASY restoration. and the rest.. well you can make about 4 or 5 good ones if you mix match parts. i myself am headed to his lot tomorrow to pick up two of them. he is located in FILLMORE,CA (yes in the middle of nowhere) but plenty of parts to get before they go to the crusher. and about two or three 1969's up in there seen them myself. the guy's name is Eric he's a great guy and if you are REALLY interested in saving a z and restoring it PM me.... and maybe i could provide his # for you to contact him.
  22. Great. Thank you. yeah i emails some peeps that seemed to know their stuff about Z's and surprizingly they all said to just go all turbo and slang the Mikunis or build a NA with them later. Im thinking of possibly if not MOST likely slanging the 69 once i get it in DECENT shape. "hopefully" yeah i know 800 was a steal for them. the first thing i saw when i poped the hood open on that 69 was $ rolling in my eyes when i saw the mikunis. haha But il make a new thread at the start of my project thanks alot for the replies. you guys are great.
  23. Hi guys i just got MAJORLY hooked up with two cars. HArd to believe but this is the list 1969 Z with n47 engine (l28) with tripple mikuni carbs. and other electronic ignition components MSD bla bla bla (some rust) 1972 z with L28ET stock motor straight body no rust. for $800 my question is... Can i, and is it recomendable if i build the l28et but run the tripple mikunis? would i get more power? what are the Pro's and Con's of running this setup? any help would be greatly apreshiated thanks guys
  24. I just hope they fix that damn hatch panel design where the rust builds up in all these cars. it seems it has the same. but i could be wrong. and the car looks TOO round from the rear end. still lovely car. someone took their time on this. just my 2cents
