    Last Sunday the Empire Z Club went on a cruise to Palms Springs,CA. 180 miles round trip. Our club left Redlands then we met with members from san diego z club in Anza,CA. and we were on our way to Rancho Mirage where we had lunch at Johnny Rockets.

    Here is a picture of the spark plugs in order from Left-front engine to right-back of engine. with the current setup.

    Just installed a AEM wideband I welded the bung right after the msa 6-1 header flange. I have tripple 40dcoe webers they are basically stock except for the 29mm chokes. timing at around 16*, idle is stable at 900-800 rpm. Now my air/fuel gauge at idle is not stable it jumps around between 11-14. Could a vacuum leak at the intake manifold gasket cause this.

    So today I started removing the old 32/36 dgv webers and installed the triples 40dcoe.

    I rebuilt my Weber 40dcoe and made the linkage.

    I Cut 2 pieces of wood they measure 8.5mm and 15mm so that should get me in the ballpark. I'll check it with a micrometer depth checker when I hook up the fuel lines.

    Im trying to set up the float measurement but I do not have a DCOE gauge. Is there away to set the float level with out having to buy a gauge. Specially since the ones I found are being shipped from the United Kingdom.

    I got my webers rebuilt kit from italy on monday. Today I finished soda blasting one of the carbs since Im going to rebuild them one at a time so I won't loose parts.

    I know everyones setup is different. Just wanted a general measurement since I'm making my own linkage. And needed to get the right length rod.

    Does anyone know the length of the linkage for the triple weber DCOE. There are 3 adjustable linkages. From center hole of one heim to the other. thank you
