So about a year ago I bought a 280zx distributor from Oreilley's and had lifetime warranty. 3 months ago I purchased a dizzy from the junkyard but it needed a rebuilt so today I cleaned it up a bit and went to oreillys I turned it in using my other dizzy warranty I got from there, Got my self a brand spanking new dizzy with ignition module...

So I purchased a brake booster back in 8-13-12 its a 1979 280z booster thats on my 240z. Now that brake booster took a sh** on my a few hours ago. Why would the diaphragm rip that fast? Im running z32 30mm calipers in the front and 240sx calipers on the rear. Not even a year and I need to replace it already. The bad part is that I lost my receipt so might not be able to get the warranty. Hopefully If I take my bank statement which has the transaction with the purchase they will replace it for free.

That's what I was thinking to flip it. Right now I have the wide part facing front of car and the narrow side facing the rear. Flipping the rubber mount is probably move the diff forward giving me that space I need to bolt the R180 mustache bar.

the front mount is from a R200 cause that's what I was running before the swap. My 240z is a 71, didn't they switched mustache bars with the bends in the middle in the late 240z? Does anyone have pictures of their sti lsd with the R180 mustache bar? There is no way that when I screw in the nuts on the rear cover that the R180 mustache bar is going to bend that much to touch the rear diff cover.

I have a 240z R180 mustache bar its flat and a R200 mustache bar with the cross-member. I installed 2005 STI R180 now I try using the R180 mustache bar but there's a 1/2 gap in the rear were the 2 mounting bolts are at so the back of the diff cover is won't touch the bar. Now if I flip the bar its to far forward and the diff won't fit. What I ended up doing was using the R200 mustache bar and putting rubber bushings on the mouthing bolts that are 1/2 thick in between the Diff cover and the mustache bar.

changed the u-joints on the half-shafts what a pain in the a$$

Looks like this is the cheapest one I have found at $9.99 each. Going to order these if I can't find anything cheaper.

I'm looking for some throttle shaft lever arms. I searched some of the companies that TonyD suggested on another thread but they only ones I found withing my price range are 8mm and 5/16 shaft hole. I have a 3/8 shaft do you guys think I can possibly make the lever arms hole a little bigger and still be able to cramp the shaft. I'm looking for something like this the aluminum kind are pricey. Thanks

I been hit like that before driving a civic freeway was wet, kid was merging into freeway and lost control of his car. Hit me on front passenger side took me out spun me 180° facing on coming carpool lane traffic. He also took out 2 other cars. After the shock of getting hit goes away few hours later is when my body started to hurt. . Hope everything goes well with the doctors. Sucks when u loose a car u work on and you spent your hard earned money on.

Just need to piece together a throttle linkage since I don't think the Weber universal one will work.

I think i finally found a picture of this manifold looks like Leon was correct. Is this a rare manifold?

I measured the length and the top part of the runners is 4 3/4" and the bottom is 4" since the flanges are at an angle.

So I got this Intake with some triple weber carburetors I wanted to know if anyone knows what kind of brand these are. I googled pictures of it but could not find anything. Thanks

I had all my suspension parts media blasted for under $100 here in southern california. I would think doing the engine bay would be around the same price.
