  1. This car isnt available in Nitro, but with Brushless setups its not really a big deal. I called today and my new Radio should be in tommorow. But the Motor/controller is still on back order. I really cant wait to drive this thing.
  2. I am aware of this fellas. This is not new to me, ive been involved in RC for quite sometime now and with the setup ill be running it will be wicked fast. Anyway this isnt about mine, I was just stating I bought one. So if anyone had any questions about the car, they would know someone to ask.
  3. About $200 for the kit, I was one of the first to get one so Im told. I know a guy that runs a hobby shop here. I'll probly have about 600 dollars in mine when done. Keep in mind you could make one run for around 300 to 350 with cheeper parts. But since thats not HBZ fashion mine should outrun nitro cars, or 60+Mph. With a brushless Lipo setup, anyone looking into this kit shouldnt worry. Its a very nice setup, with lots of adjustment.
  4. Ive got a tigmate and like it but I need to get a foot control for it then Id love it.
  5. Speaking of Rem 700's I finally got mine!! .308 26" Heavy barrel all matte black, and best of all LEFT HANDED! They really do look like Cousin It don't they John? But think of it this way if you in really tall grass it will look like a bunch of floating AK's coming for ya.
  6. Mine has 225's on all 4 with the fenders rolled on lowering springs. They are pretty close to the fenders in the rear. This is with the same wheel you have.
  7. We didnt test if it were better to block off the lower or the upper. In the testing we did block off the upper because it was an easier opening to block on the MSA type 3. The main idea of the whole concept was to make all the air coming into the front of the car to go thru the radiator. To keep the air from bypassing the radiator, you create a bubble of stalled air in front of the car that acts like a splitter. Hope that helps.
  8. Looks alot better, so have you got most of the bugs worked out car finally?
  9. You need the engine harness and the dash harness along with BCM, ECM, and the NATS. Austin has a very good write up on the whole swap read thru his build thread.
  10. External combustion? It looks very nice though.
  11. I bought an eastwood roller awhile back and its pretty nice. I loan it out to people I know and charge them for the use of it. Or I roll them at my shop for more $$ for those that dont want to fool with it.
  12. I usally just let off the gas, im not going to try to cause a wreck. Usally that will make them mad and or me laugh due to the reaction.
  13. Not yet I dont ive been to busy with other cars to work on my Z. The VQ35 acutally needs to be taller IE why the plentum spacers are made. Also if you have an 05(MT) or 06 (AT and MT) the MREV2 intake is a good idea. Although all it really is, is the VQ35de lower mani. with port work.
  14. I watch until ATHF or robot chicken goes off. I cant stand any of the other shows after those.
  15. Here ya go these are as I was refinishing them, the one by itself with all the rivits is finished. I just hadn't put the rivits back in the others yet. Let me know what ya wanna spend.
  16. Ive got some lowering springs FS that are used. PM me if interested.
  17. Ive got a set of old 8 holes 14x7.5 and 14x7 that I just refinished that came off my old Z theyre gold centers and polished lip. I'll get some pics when i get home!
  18. I kept tellin ya Mike! Im waiting for the R spec to hit later this year and might pick one up. I really think people that have the Cheap/Econo car outlook on Hyundai. Should really go drive a Hyundai, The company has come leaps and bounds in terms of quality. Look at the JD power reports or any quality reports, Hyundai has been #3 behind Lexus and Porsche.
  19. Happy birthday man!! from the East Coast!
