  1. I had a similar problem. Problem was due to insufficient grounding.
  2. Looking for a 240z glovebox door lock. I don't necessarily need the key. PM me if you want to get rid of one.
  3. I tried to clean mine up as much as possible. Lots of welding and re-routing.
  4. If that's the case I'm surprised all of those people haven't died yet.
  5. your z looks really good man! hows it running?

  6. Outside of the car is done... Now need to start the inside.

  7. hey man its arjay, thanks again for the tokicos!

  8. 1977 BMW anthracite. But then your card would look similar to mine...
  9. Been following your thread since day1. Love the green. Keep it up.
  10. The dude is just trying to say if you're looking to get the wheels because you think they are ounce for ounce replicas of the originals you should reconsider. If you're not that's fine too.
  11. Do what you want. "Haters gonna hate." Without adjustable control arms & some kind of camber plate, you're definetly going to have to roll the fender and run a stretched tire. Stretched tires are fine as long as you use some common sense & do your research. If you're not into the stretched tire thing, do what the gentleman above stated.
  12. Here's one I've thought about purchasing that's available via ZCCJDM: http://www.zccjdm.com/catalog.php/azcarbum/dt81970/pd1277652/HEAT_SHIELD__DRIP_PAN__WEBER_SOLEX_MIKUNI_ I think it's made by Kamenari ???
  13. This guy is building one: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?ref=Internal&from=&to=en&a=http://sato1511.blog40.fc2.com/ Look through his blog for various updates. The translator sucks, but its a start....
  14. I feel you on the lighting. So much better! I've replaced ALL my bulbs with LED replacments except for the headlights. The difference is amazing. Affordable LED bulb technology has come a long way in the last few years. All my bulbs were purchased off of ebay at decent prices. Do a little research and you can get the bulbs for cheaper than regular type replacments at you local parts store. I made a video a bit ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWaeVPy1MuQ
  15. I told my painter to use 1977 BWM Anthracite Gray Poly (33210). All my research indicates that this is a close match the the color used on the 240ZG flares, bumpers, etc. I'm not sure if it is the same color used on the 240z grill and rear valance, but I went for it anyways. We'll see how it turns out.
  16. Just like the description says. I need a set (6) of 34 DCOE chokes. I will trade straight up for either a set (6) of 30s or 36s PM is best. Thanks.
  17. I have a set of those "disk" wheels in the shed. My z rolled off the showroom floor with those. They were a dealer option back in the day. They have a faux wire basket that bolts on to the centercap.
  18. Air chisel worked great for me. Get the right angle on it and it just pops off.
  19. Ditto I got mine from https://www.thehotrodcompany.com
