All the officers I have run into have been extremly nice. Been pulled over 5 times and all 5 times they were CHP. 3 times in the Z and 2 times in my truck. Only got a ticket once and it was a fix-it ticket. Happened to be drivin around my neighborhood enjoying the new interior I put in my Z when I was pulled over. Found numerous violations with the Z but only wrote down a few. No bumpers, old tag, cant remeber the rest... Didn't even have my liscense once, but the cop was cool about it and called it in. Just make sure you shut off the car and roll down your window and everything should be fine. I can't comment on local police, but I am 18 and they could have takin advantage of me, but the chp guys were real nice about it and seem just like you and me.

I think you might have mis-spelled the name of the product resulting in your struggle to find a picture. Try TIAL wastegates. I think that is what you might be looking for. Here is just one pic I found...

Indeed. I was driving down the street in my car with 20 inch wheels and I was pulled over by the police. The cop made a ridiculous claim that I was selling drugs but there was no way I was doing that. Like I said, I have pride for my nieghborhood. I think thats correct...someone else give it a shot.

By my own personal definition, it is a hybrid. Originally a non-turbo model, it will sport a transplanted turbo engine. That is not original at all...

If you lack welding skills, I would consider this the most important factor when looking at buying a Z car. The holes in my floorpans are so bad I could put my foot through the largest one, and to make it worse I dont know how to weld. Its gonna cost me some major cash to get them fixed. So I too cannot stress enough...buy a RUST FREE Z car. And if you only see a little there is most likely more.

I kind of like the bastard child of Z cars. There won't be too many 260s left to chop up in the near future.
