Hey MrWOT: NP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have so many different projects going it's unreal! Our Philosophy is to find the Missing Link between a good application and our ITB's and do a little investment on our end, and in this case it was a Good Manifold that was needed! Working on a Billet Manifold and Direct to HEAD fitment for the E36/M50/M52 Motors now! Have our fabricator building a Turbo/M52 in a E30 Chassis and we are picking up a 95 E36 325is in the next week or 2 for a test bed! Life is Good! Kevin

Any Carb with float bowls will have starvation issues at sever engine angles side draft or Down Draft! I am build a side draft Manifold for the TB48 as we speak, for a dealer in Dubia! What Motor do you have? Kevin

Well Cold Start and Hot start are 2 different things! The Software I am use to using has both, but they still MAP/RPM/C Temp base for their correction information! Maybe you can make out the Photo! Kevin -

Guys: There's nothing wong with the Design of the Manifold! It tapers from 45mm to the Stock SBC ports just like it's supposed to, and flows well from what I understand! Just trying to establish if their is indeed a fitment issue with this manifold! I had this set-up in our Booth at PRI Show, had more people than I could count ask me if I had tried to bolt that on a motor! Sometimes it's not what people say, but what they don't say that's important! Kevin -

Because I am trying to be diplomatic without Pissing off a Vendor! I want to know if all the negative feedback I have heard about the Manifold fitment is true or not! Kevin -

Again! Has anyone actually bolt one on a Chevy? Kevin -

Does the MS have seperate Cold Start and Hot Start enrichments MAPS? Does the MS squirt prestart fuel every time the Key is turned off and then turned on? Kevin -

Anyone ever considered using the new Chevy 4.2 (I6)?

Any updates here guys? Anyone doing this swap please send me a Private message, as I have a R154 now and looking to do something with this Combo! I also have a Dealer in Dubia so getting headers or parts out of the Middle East would be pretty easy, but the Cost is out their! A nissan TB48 4.8ltr inline 6 would run me $6000 to $8000 plus the shipping, so you can see what things cost over there! Kevin -

There's a good Reason Pierce is Dumping that manifold on Ebay! I will leave it at that! The Manifold is a knock off of a Moon unit, where it's made is a different story! The design of the X manifold lends itself to great runner length, for the small block while giving great hood Clearance! If you want one that bad I have one I am willing to take a lose on! If................... you can get it to bolt on to a Motor with out modifing the manifold first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kevin -

vh series intake and exhaust manifold design...

The Titan Ports are Different, they are 54mm x 38mm! A thicker Plate would really need to be done as the 45mm to 59mm transition and the 45mm to 27mm is vastly different than the 5.6's 45mm to 54, and 45mm to 38mm transitions! Thicker Plates or a longer transition would help for sure. Kevin -

Well The Titan 5.6 has 112mm Bore Spacings need to know the Port Shape/Dimensions as well! Kevin -

So does Mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahaha! Something about getting to close to the white/yellow line I would imagine! Kevin -
Clifton: We have a Guy all over the Super/Toy Forums permoting for us! Good Guy and he means well, he has that manifold now testing it! Price? It's all located on our .biz website! Guys remember the 7m came out 20 years ago! It was probably designed 2 years prior to that! F1 has had an impact on Honda to say the least! Kevin

Guys how much difference in the 5.6 Intake manifold Flange is there compared the the 4.5? Are the ports shaped the same? Do both engines share the same Port Bore Spacing? If the Ports are the same size/shape, and the bore spacing is the same then our Titan ITB plates could possibly be re-drilled to make them fit! Kevin -

Well I will say this 1 of those Companies "owners" Spent more time in my Booth than their own at the PRI Show! That should tell you something! Here's a Chart I found on Air Flow Research's website: They spend lots of time doing Flow numbers with back to back results and seem to be more credible than some others I have seen with their information! I am no FLOW expert, never have claimed to be, and Static CFM flow numbers only tell 1 SMALL portion of the story, but if you have a Intake Port that will only flow the numbers above and you have a 45mm Throttle Body that Flows 292cfm like ours, why would you need a 50mm? Why would you want to sacrifice the VELOCITY "The driving force that holds the intake charge in the cylinder when the piston travel starts to compress with the valve still open" with a 50mm and also put up with decreased Driveability? Those $3000 dollar LS1 CNC ported heads only out flow our 45mm Throttle body by 12cfm and that is all above .600" Lift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My 2 Cents any way! Kevin
-
Guys I have been Wondering something! Can anyone give me a definative answer as to what a stock LS1 Intake Flow numbers are? I have seen lots of different numbers. Even some High Dollar CNC ported LS1 Heads at 325cfm! I'm also still trying to figure out why everyone seems to think they need 50mm plus throttle plates? Kevin

Ahhhhhhhh I see! Well in that case it may be worth it to build an ITB Plate and clearance afterwards due to the 96mm bore spacing! All our Base plates are 90mm or 120mm from the Weber! Keep your eyes on our Wesite as we are working on CAST Plenum Covers to work with our Plenum Plates! They can also be used to build some trick Manifolds! We have the Plenum Plate below in 6 cyl. "Blanks" where the center has no cut-outs in it. It can be Bore for the 96mm on Center and radiused to funnel the air into the Runners! Like the 4 Cylinder below! Covers will have 90mm ID Inlets! they can be Flanged for a Throttle Body as well! We will also have Plenum Plates for the Popular Weber Spaced manifolds! Where the Plenum Plate bolts directly to the Weber Manifold on a DCOE Pattern, cover goes on, for a very good flowing Manifold! We will have ITB "Extensions" in 2", 4", and 6" that will allow customers/engine builders to tune the Manifold for runner Length as well! Lots of different uses for this new line of Products! Kevin

Similar to This? He will be running 2 staged injection in this Rolla! High revving engines see a definate gain in Hp in the upper RPM Band! Our Weld Plate was perfect for his Stock Manifold at 90mm Bore on Center, not sure what a KA is, but I believe the KA Manifold is very Close to this! If the Runners are all Parrelle or in a single plane to one another! With us you would still need the IDF Base plates to mount the ITB's to the modified manifold for a couple of reasons! 1st the weld plate will deform after welding and have to be trued, 2nd the "welds" on a "ITB Plate you built" will interfere with the bolt holes used to except our ITB bolt pattern it's an interference issue with the Allen head holes on 95% of all manifold OD's out there! I'm sure it could be Clearance ground afterwards, but not worth the hassel when 3 plates cures the issue or does away with the problem all together! Believe me 8 bolts to remove the ITB's from the manifold is lots better than having to remove 16 and worth every penny spent! What you would need: 4 x 45 ITB's 2 x Couplings 2 x Base Plates 1 x THs-01 Throttle hardward 1 x TPS 1 x Balancer 1 x Spring Lever 4 x Block off's 1 x Weld Plate 4 x Air horns 4 x filters Total $831.50 If you ran Different Filters and Horns it could be less of Course, or you may want to run a Plenum of some sort! Any way Hope this helps! Kevin
