  1. I may have found out why the car will not start, megasquirt is not firing the coil on every turn of the engine. I pulled the wire of the cap an grounded it to the body of the car and the coil is friring every so often. Would anyone know why. when I move the wires going the the TPS the coil fires and the fuel pump runs.

  3. I had the same problem using you file in the sicky as it it not compatiable with my code, Thanks for looking over my file.Looks like I still hav a lot of work to do. I have 370cc low impedance injectors. The reason I went to simultaneous injection is I lost bank# 1 on my injection drive, and now I'm running all the injectors of bank two
  4. Can I run all six of the injectors off just one bank
  5. I'm thinking about putting a 12 sub in my spare tire well. What I would like to do is install the speaker in wood and screw in down in the well. I would also install sound deadening. Has anyone done this and what is the Sound quality . Or would it be better to build a box to fit down in the speaker tire well and.
  6. I'm running low impedance injector ans have the flyback board built into my EUC, the ECU is connected to the relay board.

A little update I checked the voltage at the injectors and found that I have 12 v on 1-3, both side of the injectors and 4-6 have 12 v on one side and 3 v on the other side,and injectors 4,5,6 are very hot. I checked the relays in the relay board and fount the far left relay (as you are looking at the relay board) is hot as well. Could this mean a bad ground?
  8. I had my car running not perfect but it ran, (lean) so Friday I found a map that looked good and plugged it in . took the car out and it ran really good for about 2.5 mile and than it died. I tried to get it started but couldn't so I had the car towed home. The rest of the day Friday and the weakened I tried to get the car started ( Adjusted and recalibtared the TPS). I pulled the plugs and as I suspected they were fouled . I noticed that 1,2,3 were not as bad as 4,5, and 6 as they socked. I decided to turn the car over to see if any gas would squirt out of the holes and sure enough 4,5,6 shout fuel out all over the car and walls. I then drained the oil but it was mostly gas that came out. Replaced the oil installed new plugs and the car started but ran for a few second and died again. So I pulled out the railed with the injectors still attached and turn the switch to on and as I suspected 4,5,6 dumped a lot of fuel, 1,2,3 did not dump any fuel, so I removed the connector from injector #4 and #3. I installed the connector for #4 to #3 injector and turn the switch to on and #3 dumped a lot of fuel as well as 5 and 6. This leads me to be live that something is wrong with the bank that runs 4,5,and 6. Would you guys have any idea, were I should start. Could something not be set up right? Thanks

  10. Thanks guy's I have tried all for your suggestion and the sensor still does not work. I contacted the manufacture tech guy he thinks the controller is bad. I am sending it back today, I will run the car on the narrow band until they send me a replacement.
  11. HI Brian, I dont have a stimulator, so there no way to test the ECU I did run the Log works on the lap top and the gage on the laptop shows reading. I programed both out puts and both shows nothing I recalibrated the LC-1 yesterday, but I can do it again. I did check the volts on both out puts and both show 28mv. this is before and after the 470 - resistor
  12. I have program the 02, set the EGO in megatune to wide band and set the 0-5 v 10-20 AFR lC-1 in the ini files. and the sensor still does not show any readings. I also have a 470, resistor in line with the ECU.
  13. I can't megesquirt (megetune)to communicate with my LC-1 wide band, I have try setting it in the ini file but it still does not work. The sensor read when I pull up the log work gage on my laptop. It reads 22.3 afr. lane.I did the free air calibration when I installed the sensor, and have reset it a few times still can get megesquitr to communicate with the sensor. When I pull up the real time display, and the VE table 1 in the tunning tab everything reads except the 02. Would anyone have any idea why megesquirt is not communicate with the Lc-1. Also just got the car running when the boost start to come on the car pings, at aroung 2psi. and aroung 3300 rpms. if I stay out of the boost the car runs fine, another problem is the car idles for a while (about2-2.5 mins.)and then stops Info on my set up 76-N42 BLOCK N-42 HEAD 8.5 compression t/3 TURBO 370CC Ijectors supra intercooler 3" ext. I have read the manual over and over seam the more I read the more confused I get. If someone is willing to teach me how to use what I got I can pay contact me and let's work out compensation. Well the weather has finally gotten better how about a drive this sunday.What I was thinking is we cruise for a few hours and that get a bite to eat.We could meet around 3 PM drive until 6 PM or so and then get some dinner. Times are not set in stone we can adjust it if needed.Send mail if you can make this event.   17. congratulations I hope I can get to that point with my 240zt Can you tell me how you hooked up your coil, I can't get my v3.0 to fire the coil. Do you have both of the pull up resistors as shown in DYI. write up, also it said to not use the G/Y wire but instead us the G/B wire. Are you saying you used the G/Y wire for your tack signal?
  18. The fuel pump does run for a few seconds when thre key is in the on position.I have not check to see if it runs while I will check that tomorrow.
  19. We took the day off but will work on the car tomorrow night. We are going to start over and reprogram everything and see how that goes. One thing we get a cranking RPM of about 147, would this be a tack signal?

  21. I'm having problems with my 3.0 board. I had the board set up to drive my coil when I had it build.(DYIAUTOTUNE) I install it just as the instillation guide said . When I try to start the car it does not get a tack single or injector pulse. I'm not getting spark or fuel. This is how I have the relay board wired up pin # 1 neg. to INJS. 1-3 PIN # 3 NEG. to INJ. 4-6 PIN.# 5 fuel pump pin.# 6-10 not used PIN. # 11 1k 1/4 watt resistor ( one end of resistor in pin #11 and other end is in pin # 12) PIN # 12 coil ground.( neg. side of coil) + side of the coil is from fuel pump relay with a 10 amp fuse pin # 15( tack single) G/B wire from distributor also ( have 12 v to 1k 1/4 resistor to pin # 15 as well. I ran the 12 v from pin# 4 on the injector power supply.) Distributor 12 v (b/w wire is connected to the old coil 12 v from the 240z) distributor neg. - is connected to body ground I have the old white resistor from the 240z harness still hook up, ( B/w 12 v to one side and G/W to the other side.) I'm not sure but I think the G/W connects to the tack in the car. I turn the spark out put invert ot "yes" set FIDLE TO idel control set LED #17 to spark I swapped out dist. still no tack single, no fuel. When I pull the dist. out and spin it by hand the fuel pump runs like it should. In Moby's sticky it say the set the timing to TDC and back it off 45* and turn the dist until the middle LED light comes on. I tried this but the light does not come on. I loaded moby's maps to the ECU. Can any one help.

  24. I looked in the map sharing sticky but did not find what I was looking for. I would like to find someone with a set up like my (370cc injectors) or close to my that would like to share their maps with me. This is what I'm running STOCK N42 BLOCK N42 HEAD STOCK TURBO T/3 DIS. FOR A 83 TURBO 370CC. INJECTORS 60MM TB supra intercooler megasqurit 3.0 relay board LC-1 wideband 02 3"ext.
  25. Well I have been installing my megasuqirt over the passed couple weekends. Yesterday I got the ECU. installed and check the unit to see if the relay board would turn the fuel pump on for a few seconds, which it did. I turn the engine over to check for spark, nothing the coil would not fire. I have the 3.0 board which was build by DYI. I though I would have to turn the spark control when I hook up the laptop for tuning, so today I installed the wide band and turn the key on to calibrate it when notice the fuel pump was not coming on anymore. I checked for 12 v at the pump and nothing, I check for 12 v at the coil and it too is dead just like last night. When I turn the key the ECU powers up and I hear the fuel pump relay come on and switch off after a few seconds. I still have not hooked up the laptop to the ECU yet as I run out of time to keep working on the car. Does anyone have an idea of where I should start? Thanks
