The time have come for me to pick the paint for 240zt, I want to paint the car orange. I' am now searching orange z cars to find a good shade of orange to go with. Anyone out there that have an orange z car or know of someone that has one or just have some picture of orange z cars would you mind posting or sending some pictures, also if you would include the brand of paint and the paint code. P.S the car is already the stock 918 orange I looking for something different.

WOW, there is'nt anyone out there that has gotten to new 3.0 board to work.

I'm looking to upgrade my 240zt with megasquirt 3.0, I have been reading and searching a lot of posts. One thing I have found is a lot of people have try to run this board but not having much luck getting the spark feature to work. What I'm looking for are people that have gotten there ECU to work and what was done to get the spark feature working, and how do you like the new 3.0 and would you recommend it. Looking for some 3.0 success stories.

Drax240z, I have another question, did the N42 head come with a cam oiler, if so are you running it?

Drax240z Did you just bolt the N-42 to your turob block or is there more to it than that. if you can yuo tell us what was done as I to have a 240zt and looking to up my comperssion.

I' am looking to up grade me supra intercooler, I don't know much about them and looking for a little help picking the right one for my application. I'm have a 240z with a 83 280zxt enging it and in the process of getting megasqurt and runnig some 370cc injectors and the t3 for now but will be upgrading to t3/t4 by next summer. I have a few intercoolers I'm in mind but not sure which would be the best to go with, here they are. I have heard a lot of good things about the npr unit but I'm looking on E-bay and see I can buy a new intercooler for the price of an old NPR. I don't know if these are poor quality or not can you guys help . what would be the best combo for my 240zt, I have a five speed from a 80- 280zx and a five speed from a (77- 280z). the car has a LSD 3.7- from a (87-300zx) The my summer toy, I don't race it.

Have anyone used Martin Seymour paint ( sold by NAPA), if so what was your experience with it and did you like the out come of your paint job .Would you recommend this brand of paint. I am looking for as much feedback as possible.

I have a 71 240zt with 14X7 wheels, I need to get new tires this week and would like some opinion on size and brand please. I do a lot of street driving, what I looking for a good performance tire at a reasonable price. I have been looking at Falken Azenis but they only come in 195-60-14 I was hoping to get a little bigger tire. I did fine the Falken ZE-512 but don't know much about it. I would like to thank everyone that responded to my post. I got my brakes fix and all due to this site and classiczcars.com. It turns out my reaction disk fell when I was adjusting the rod length. I search this site for brake problems and found a post about the reactions disk. So this morning I pull the booster out and took out the push to find the disk had fallen in the booster, I got it out clean off all the grease and super glued it the push rod, adjusted the length of the rod and my brakes are working perfectly

I went out and check and the bleeder is on the top and the hose was changed two years ago when I relpaced the entire breaking system.

Mike the reservoir's are the same size (79-280z) I have the reservoir in the back closest the the fire wall going to the front and the reservoir in front going to the back is this correct? One thing I have notice is that when The beark is appiled the car pulls VERY HARD to the right

I replaced my whole break system (calipers, wheel cylinders booster and master cylinder) and now I have no breaks. When I apply the beaks the peddle goes all the way to the floor and barely function. I have bled the system more time than I care to remember. I have searched and read that sometimes the reaction disk in the booster falls out so today I took the old unit in and got another and still no beaks. When I replaced all the beaks components I up grade to the 280zx master, as someday I would like to do the Toyota four piston calipers swap. What I wonder is would the master cylinder be the problem because I’m still running the stock 240z calipers? Any idea would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to get my 240zt back on the road. P.S when the car is off I have a fairly good peddle but when the car is running it fades.

My stock fuel pump on my 240zt went out I'm looking for a new one. I searched and it looks like the walbro 392 is what a lot of guys are running. I would like to order my pump tomorrow can you guys tell me if this is the same pump that is recommended.
