  1. Gotta love them twisty Oak Glen roads! Especially in the Z. If your wife goes without you tell her watchout, there is a middle aged Jonny appleseed impersonator that likes to approach women. He has a big fat belly and red cheeks from sipping too much cider. Oh and he has a pot on his head. Be warned.
  2. I bought my 17x8.5,17x9.5 manarays from them. They have really great deals and they only get better if you live in the SoCal area and can roll up with CASH in hand, if you get my meaning.
  3. I saw your post yesterday about your new rims and seriously gagged..I didn't have the heart to tell you because I thought you might love them. Now that I know you don't..those are the fugliest wheels I have ever seen on a Z. SPORTMAX.
  4. I'd stick with the 9.5's. With your torque you should be encountering power oversteer with street radials already, so with the 9.5 section you could still run 255 (possibly 265) as opposed to 245 once your rolled and pulled. I'll be rolling and pulling my fenders to fit my 17x9.5 MJ9 manarays with 255 or 265 under them. Plus if you give up that lip...well this is SoCal..you know how we roll.
  5. "i think is a e88 cam... not totally sure about the cam." I could be wrong, but because I have seen people mix and match many random parts on Z's it would not surprise me if it was an e88 cam. The e88 cams that I had in both my 240 and 260 had oil spray bars as the e88 was not an internally lubricating cam like the later 280 cams. I have seen a lot of franken z's in my 10+ years of Z ownership at this point, many of them were sitting in salvage yards. You might wanna do a search and confirm your cam as it will affect your asking price. Good luck on your sale!
  6. Viva HZ!! This is the most amazing Z site ever!! Thank you gentlemen for your time and effort, it is greatly appreciated by the entire Z community!!
  7. Will the z understeer less with a staggered r180 set up? I am wondering if less weight in the rear will help the rear step out sooner, or will the weight bias being toward the front with the r180 just emphasize the understeer more? I have 245/275 40 series tires on 17x8.5, 17x9.5 rims. I have yet to run the car with this set up and have not yet installed a r200.
  8. ^ Todd Kaneko's ride. Did he go RB? In the "Turbo Magazine" he was featured in he was still L motored. That was around 2000-2001.
  9. Someone on this board needs to buy this at that price and put it to good use. Don't forget after WM lands in a few months every kid with a fat wallet is going to drive prices of these pieces up by 300%. I'd buy it but I been sittin on a type 1 for a few years now, the search for a type 2 begins..
  10. Picked up a 240 back in 96, it was my first car. Ran across hybridz about four years ago while researching a turbo swap. Been lurking ever since...........................oops.
