  1. Maybe one spring is longer to compensate for the twisting during acceleration?
  2. I can get you up to 20% off all genuine Nissan parts straight from 2 dealers.
  3. Dont pay attention to the styling on this truck. Check out the engine and rear end. Thats personally the first time ive seen a supercharger on any L Series engine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2462193922&category=6188
  4. LOL good luck. So far ive tried the following: Vice grips drill hole on bottom, stick rod in, pound with hammer attach one end to tree, other to truck; pull attach both ends to 2 trucks; pull believe it or not, after a few hours, it just fell out, go figure.
  5. I dont know. My brothers unit was the 3rd inf mechanized who punched through up from Kuwait and took Bahgdad. He brought some of his buddies from his unit when he came to visit home in cali. They are all good guys. I dont understand why the men who were there before need to be sent back. Hopefully, since my brother is a tank mechanic, they have him working on tanks 24/7, no patrols. But who knows.
  6. Call it what you wanna call it, but i call it pure BS. My family got the email yesterday that my brothers unit 3/69 based out of Fort Benning, Georgia (along with MANY others across the US) is being sent back to Iraq sometime between October 2004-March 2005. My brother had been back in Cali training out in the Mojave desert for 2 whole months for some reason he couldnt explain. So close to home but he couldnt see us. He did not plan on telling my mother about his plans because she cant handle it. The Army sent an email to my mothers house telling us that hes going back. My brother is a little upset that they did that. I guess the US is "fighting" a war in chapters? Part III? Wow, dont get your hopes up people, we are going to be there for a very long time. The end is not near, more people are going to die, which really phucking sux.
  7. theres a little o ring in the coupler that screws into the trans
  8. I was thinking about using a GM 3.8 v6 in the zx. Does the 700r4 fit right on the sucker? I would go as far back to the firewall as possible. You mention adding stuff later, and itll all have its weight toll. Id rather have oversteer than understeer.
  9. Huntington Beach by FAR! You are close to the beach, there are lots of fine women around, and the weather is ALWAYS fair! San Bernardino is slummmmmmy. I used to live in a suburb of San Bernardino called Highland, it was so so borderline of uppermiddle class and lower middle class. You are gonna have more lower class problems to deal with in San Bernadino. Huntington Beach PD would be the best out of these you listed.
  10. WOW man thats cheap for complete. Whats $250 CAD in US $? Like $2?
  11. We are interested in hiring three semi-obnoxious, pushy Acct. Executives, for a very boring repetitious job of selling. Our rather dismal office is located in Longmont. You would be forced to work in the office. Our current staff, which is the laziest group of individuals you will ever see, drag themselves to work 5 days a week to decide whether to complain about the weather, the coffee, the thermostat, or the manager. When that's all over, they somehow manage to organize themselves, work their calls, and sell a whole lot of our services and products, which is surprising, because nobody wants to buy anything we sell, because our prices are too high and the economy stinks. Applicants should have skin like an Alligator, and a desire to suffer their way to make at least a thousand a week. Paid training to the right three people. - true ad from "Rocky Mountain News" in Denver on Saturday, January 21 1995
  12. which one? the 3.8, 4.3, or both?
  13. Dude your mom is going to kill you!
  14. external, on the underside of the car right behind the passenger seat
  15. Ive been thinking about how nice a GM 3.8 would be. I just got a Pontiac Transport minivan a few weeks ago. The engine has balls, even for that big minivan with people in it. V6, 3.8, coil packs, i have high expectations of this engine if it were to be put in a light Z car!
  16. log out and log back in to hybrid, then you can see it

  20. Hi guys. I want to share my brake cooling setup that we use on our current 77. We built them mainly for use on our old 77 280z race car that only saw open track events at Buttonwillow. This setup is using the MSA 50-1412 front air dam with ducts. All peices are aluminum. This will hold up to street abuse 8) MSA 50-1412 Air directed into ducts Duct tubes attach to back of air dam by small screw/nut combos Close up of hoses secured to ducts with basic worm gear clamps. Regular swimming pool grade hose runs back to the brake cooler distribution boxes. These are bolted to the inner wheel well with small screw/nut combos. The boxes distribute the air to the front of the inner rotor, and the rear of the inner rotor. Duct tube closeup. Passenger side airbox inlets. Passenger side airbox outlets. Left, passenger side cooler box. Right, drivers side cooler box. This setup is 100% street durable, no ifs ands or buts. The air hoses are held to the inner wheel well by a heater hose type clamp like the one pictured here I would consider making some more, only if i can get my hands on welder again! Enjoy! 8)
  21. Its the new and improved David K! You know, no off topic posts, just technical, because i always put my foot in my mouth
  22. Important fact here. DAW mentioned the Maxima sump is in the front. The oil pickup of the Maxima block is located in the front also. You will find when you go to put the rear sump pan on the Maxima block, it will not fit because the pickup will be hitting it. You need to take off the pickup, and weld an extension on it to reach the rear sump. FYI 8)
