Check out the TPS on the side of the throttle body. Just unplug it and drive. Its ok, it wont harm anything. I had a bad tps, and the revs bounced at 3,000 rpm. It happened when it got wet also. Just unlug it and give it a whirl.

Hey Yasin, How much room do you have between your seats and the rear storage panel? I had some honda prelude seats in my zx, but im a big guy and i couldnt get them back far enough to fit comfortably. I had to remove the metal bracket on the floor so i can drop my seat down a little for wearing helmets at open track. The stock position was too high and my helmet was hitting the moonroof handles.

Use grey Permatex. It has a Nissan part number on the back of the tube. Thats what Nissan/Infiniti used to seal oil pans and stuff.

I was installing my new ACT clutch and pressure plate along with a new fresh built 5 speed. I just got done aligning the clutch, and i started bolting in the pressure plate. I torqued down 5 of the 6 bolts, got to the 6th, and it SNAPPED, inside the flywheel. I screamed, and so did my girlfriends cousin who was under the car with me. I called about 5 people to ask them what i should do, they all said i should remove the flywheel and drill it out. Bummed, i started taking off the pressure plate and clutch. I got the drill out, but i didnt have any bits that would cut through the broken bolt. So i ground down a screwdriver to a point, and i tried to back the bolt out by hitting it with a hammer and the screwdriver. It didnt wanna move at all. So i gave my mother a call to wish her a happy mothers day. I was chatting with her when i started rubbing the broken bolt with my thumb. I couldnt believe it, it was loose and was backing out by thumb! I gotta say that was the happiest moment for me this year, by far. Got everything together again, and the Z drives damn great! Just thought id share, since my heart was on the floor for 2 hours today.

Tommorow i am cutting my front springs, and installing Mercedes springs in the rear of my 79 zx. I want 1" drop. Im going to cut the Mercedes springs equal to the stock rear springs in my zx. Then i am going to take off as much as i would need to result in a 1" drop. What should i cut on the front springs, and what should i cut on the rear springs, for a 1" drop?

I had brand new glass and moulding clips installed on the parts car i have now. I was driving the car back then. The reason i replaced the window on which is now the parts car is because i broke it. PS, customlock, i emailed you some time back about rekeying my zx locks, but we never spoke. Doors, hatch, and ignition. Right now, ANY key opens the doors, and starts the car

How do i remove a windsheild without breaking it? The one time i attempted a windsheild removal, i broke it, way too easy. I have my old 280zx with a brand new windsheild, that i have to put in my new ZX. Theres some small rust around the new zx's windsheild, thats why im going through all this. Tools? Techniques? TIA
