  1. well it was supposed to be a t3/t4B for that specific reason, and i tried a spacer but once you add the gaskets its too big unless you can change the mount studs on the manifold??
  2. does anyone have pictures of installing a hybrid turbo?? when i put mine on yesterday i had some major clearance issues around the exhaust manifold and intake manifold, i also had to rotate the compressor 90 degrees otherwise it was pointing straight up into the intake. any help or advice is appreciated
  3. i think there have been a few that have surpassed 500 on pump gas, and from what i have heard an RB swap is mostly custom and a TT V8 is entirely custom.

  5. is an FMU the same as a RRFPR and do you use it in conjunction with a stock FPR or by itself in place of stock FPR or RRFPR??

  7. yes, the one i used on my NA motor was from an L24E from a maxima, ran fine

  10. the 4.3 is rated at 190hp for the trucks. it is nothing more than a 305 bwith the back cylinders chopped off. also the supercharger for the bonneville runs 1609.35$$ GM number 12480245.
  11. you most certainly can, i know i work at Nissan as counterman, its how i get all my parts and Motorsport has a large L28 following, talk to your local dealer.

  13. just got mine back from turbo city (near motorsport auto) they did a real nice job and very friendly
  14. ok im about to embark on my turbo swap. 81 l28et into 76 280 w/ 4-speed 1. i have t3 turbo and a t3/t4. i have stock turbo and na injectors and 440cc injectors. should i first put motor together stock and tune or start right away with big turbo and injectors?? 2. can i use stock turbo injectors, stock turbo and turbo fuel pump on 76 electronics just to make sure that my engine will run before i wire in the 81 electronics?? (im not talking major boost or hard driving, just enough to turn over engine and get it to my dads smog shop)

  16. well thanks to the new caddy XLY it is now a rear wheel drive motor as well as fwd, you could probably fab the mounts off of the factory pieces
  17. well i get the bottom end back next week and then i will put the head in the machine shop for port/polish and the cam install with double valve springs, i also took my turbo into Turbo City in Orange CA which is down the street from Motorsport Auto, i am getting the T3/T4B with a V trim wheel and stage 3 turbine, all should be done by the end of the year and i already ordered my SDS system. lastly go the greddy intercooler ready to be installed.
  18. just some extra info sort of in defense of the ricer the intakes that keep the filter under the hood and behind the radiator are short ram intakes, the cold air intakes drop the filter inside the front fascia of the car which pulls in the cooler more pressurized air coming from the bottom of the car. that is why they are sold with a bypass valve so they dont suck up water when they go through a puddle and hydrolock
  19. FACTORY NISSAN HAS A FEW SETS LEFT, AND THEY WILL BE COMING FROM MANY DIFFERENT WAREHOUSES SO THERE WILL BE ABOUT A WEEK WAIT THE PART NO. IS 12010-P9017
  20. thanx for the info, i have already adjusted the pedal height and the pushrod, and still have no luck with getting it to disengage.
  21. i bought the 225mm centerforce dual friction clutch and installed it on my nearly stock 280z. now i cannot get the car to go into gear as the clutch will not disengage. the stock clutch had no probs except it was tore up. i have replaced the slave cylinder and bled the system and im still stuck...any advice?? please help!!!
  22. i didnt know that there was a RWD trans that the 4g63 could bolt to (without custom work), if there is than that would be a cool 4-cylinder to play with
  23. yeah but are you going to convert to FWD or AWD?? that is the way the 4g63 is desogned to mount
