What motor is the supra ? late 80= MKIII which I thought was only single turbo, unless it was swapped should be a 7M right ?

I think you forgot the link. I heard that on the STI or maybe it was the EVO, that their so finely tuned from the factory that when people do "upgrades" it looses performance, but that is just what I heard, theres probably not much truth to that.

I'm curious, what would be a better engine. if nissan built two 3.5L engines, one a V6 and one a I6, both had the same bore and stroke, compression, crossflow same everything, but shape. would one engine be better then the other ? I mean yeah I'm sure this engine is way stronger/faster/lighter then the I6 it replaced but it's also newer.

Does anyone have a working 280ZX fuel pump that they are not using that I can possibly buy for cheap, free or trade. my pump went out, I have very little money and I have to borrow cars to get to work So any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

well it wasn't a lot of gas so i think by the time we hosed it down most of the gas was done just the trash and leaves in the corner. last time some one lit my fence on fre I went and grabed my dads fire extiguisher and it didnt work a dn i didnt want to waste time seeing if the new one worked, burns arnt major but it got my fingers too and teir wrapped hence the bad typing on the right side of the keyboard. got the dog bed replaced already new light covers tomorow new phone too, just gotta clean up and replace the socket/light switch/. going t try and get pictures tomorow. the main cause of it all was becuase i wasnt being patient, I wanted to try it quickly before hjad to return my friends car and didnt have eveything properlky setup and mistakes were made

Okay so i wired up a fuel pump that I cleaned with gas to my batter to see if it work since it was a junk yard pump. anyways it sparked and the pump caught fire I got scared and threw it "outside" but the door side dor was blown shut and i didn't see it so the firey pump hit the door and knocked over the bucket with the gas and boom. I got scared opened the main door ran out side got the hose from the back yard by that time the neighbors were helping and we got it out, only dammage was my passenger head light cover, my dogs bed, phone and outlet, and my arm.

I believe he did tune it on the street, from what I understand this is the first time being on a dyno and he has previously driven it to California for JCCS

looks like a good candidate for a L16/18/20 can probably get those motors cheap and I'm sure their just as easy to work on as L6's

By the way i don't know how you're removing the sound deadener but like others have tried on the forum, get some dry ice crush it up and put it on the sound deadener, wait a few minutes and start chipping it away. Doesn't take long, I did a whole 510 in like 15 minutes.
