You have a 280ZX I'm assuming from your username. So I would assume that if you just leave the key in the cap until you screw it back in. You won't be able to drive off with out it ?

Mine does the same thing. You might notice little bits of broken translucent amber plastic on the floor. I don't know how to fix it though ha ha. But if I depress it towards the right it does not click.

Well I don't know. I just spent three days at the Red Bull Drift Championship in long beach. it was my first time experiencing drift and I thought that it was pretty awesome. Now the coolest part is that I got to ride in one of the cars while it raced. but seeing the car up close was pretty cool. and from what i can tell there is not really any regulations other than the tires so it seems like you have nearly endless options. I don't know, to me (someone with no race experience) that seems pretty awesome.

Okay so I started doing a lot of work on the car for the JCCS 2008. Which included repainting the wheels, and adding some body styling. Old and busted half way through, at least these are not that intricate to mask off. And the finished product, looks super good compared to the old. Got some rear splash guards installed. Now even those they mock up perfectly, and are indeed designed for the later style bumpers, the mounting points are incorrect, so I just mocked them up and drilled though the holes that were already there, through the rubber bumper thing and though the lip on the fender, threw some body clip fasteners on there and boom done. Here's it in the drive way, I didn't realize how terrible my photos were that day but this is the best one showing the car. But if you notice I got a very early hatch with no wiper or sprayer and painted it a satin black, which I think looks pretty good. Here I am at a unnamed shop getting a test pipe made and installed. actually here is a good shot from JCCS (Thanks JNC) And what did all my hard work net me ? This I was pretty surprised myself. I finally got around to installing my T3 RCAs Well, that is it for now. Expect more cool stuff after I pay off the Visa

What is the difference, I pulled a down pipe off a junk yard car and it had three bolts ? How many does it normally have ?

Alright well either the heat didn't work or it wasn't hot enough. I slapped some Mothers Back to Black on it and it looks good enough for JCCS. and it will buy me time to figure it out what to do after wards. Although I am going to put an aluminum brace up that goes from the bottom of the radiator to the bottom of the lip opening. that should work well. I'll post pictures up when I retrieve my camera.

WEll there's some interesting news. I left the car out in the sun and theres portions of it that are now nice smooth black color. so I think I'm going to try hitting it with some heat. That paint works well on flexible stuff ?

Okay I got a new air dam installed it's a xenon and the fit is pretty good. But the finish is kinda scuffed up, I was wondering if there is anyway to get an even finish on the rubber and just leave it raw with no paint, or if that is even a good idea. the paper that came with it said to read the paint prep section but did not include it. either way I don't want it painted because I've seen my budys and it looks great with no paint.

I still have one with no "turbo" on it and it's for sale.

You're talking about the little matchbox thing on the side of the dizzy ? If so it's probably not that, they last a long time, you can go to a yard and pick one off a car there.

That red 280zx has a 280ZXR wing right ? I say this because I think that the aftermarket whaletails don't have the recess in the middle of the lip.
