  8. actually tony if you buy any sort of any decent powerwasher you should at least go with one at 4gpm and 4000psi i prefer going with a 5.5gpm machine that is 3500psi(im a powerwasher as a job so i have access to many different ones...) and top that off with a hot box... and crank the heat up to 190degrees and then your having some fun.. i havent used the wet sand blaster but i would think it would work great
  9. you could always buy 2 and cut one in the middle and then cut the other for the length you needed ad then glass them back together. but either way.. this would be ALOT of work
  10. check ebay for billet battery trays way cheaper then jegs and they are still nice in my opionion
  11. looks good im waiting on a optima battery holder from e-bay its one that doesnt have the top bar and only holds it from the bottom. my repair isnt as pretty as yours but i still got the job done
  12. i have a crash shut off switch in line from a ford so if it crashes the fuel pump is turned off. and honestly gas is pretty hard to ignite in a liquid state. i know its a risk to an extent but the tube is so thick im pretty sure it could take a pounding i know the bracket would break first and'or the lines would get cut but they would get cut behind the core support also
  13. lol actually when i was buying the parts at the hardware store a few guys gave me the "wtf are you making" look and the "am i going to see this on the news?" look lol my friend thought i was making a bomb also. and actually my surge tank is mounted in front of the radiator crossmember. i took a piec of aluminum and bent it around it and then its bolted to where my horn used to be i have a picture around somewhere if your interested its been on my car for a week now and its working fine
  14. i just made a surge tank for my turbo swap. what i used was just some plain jane 2 inch threaded galvanized pipe. with 2 caps on the end. then drill and tap the ends for the correct fittings your using and walla a surge tank
  15. awsome im gonna be tackling this shortly what kind of rivets are those again?? i like that idea because well im not that good with a welder lol
  16. they dont sell on ebay any more i was bummed also you can still buy them at there web page www.ssautochrome.com but they are more expensive
  17. i just did this with my turbo motor that is on the stand.. i used a dremel with a carbide ball a really small one and i was actually able to grind out the easy out i then decided to just drill it out and then put 10mm studs on the front and rear exhaust studs that are prone to breaking of course i had to retapp it but no biggie
  18. lol all you guys talking about di water in all your high tech jobs is funny to me... im a window cleaner and i use it lol i have a mobile DI filtration system in the back of my work truck that i clean windows with... but here is the story you guys will like... once about 9 months ago my gfs neon blew a radiator hose and i came and fixed it but didnt have any distilled water.. so i pulled out the house from the back of the truck and filled up her radiator well needless to say 2 months ago i had to replace the radiator i dont know if that was the cause but i do know that the radiator held pressure with a tester and then 7 months later it had 2 really big holes in it right where the fins meet the end tanks... so you be the judge
  19. im actually a ducati certified mechanic havent worked on them in a few years but if ya need some advice e-mail me yz125mxracer2001@yahoo.com nice bike by the way..
