Wait adapters or spacers?

What size adapters would be good?

Also what offset would be good to get 10 or 20 offset?

Will these rims clear a 280z with Arizona Z car 4 piston front and rear brakes and the bolt patterns and hubs and the Coilover suspension also from http://arizonazcar.com/ I want to know because I really plan on getting these because I saw a 240z I think it was on best stock looking fender and I just wanted to get them. Probably stupid to say but is your truck running sluggish? My 1991 240sx Ka24de was leaking a lot of oil but it was a power steering hose that was loose and I just tighend it. My power steering fluid is a redish color so yea thats why I said that.

Yea someone told him its a bad injector if he unplugs a good injector it shakes even more... if he disconnects the bad one it doesn't rattle more or less. I know my car is going to be faster than his I'm going to get an SR swap soon for 2,500. I might get 5,000 this friday.

Well not really stock both have intakes and mufflers about of both cars which you think might be faster? I raced my bro before but it had a 30 something year old clogged catalytic and a stock muffler. It hasn't had a tuneup since we got it which is about 100-150 miles maybe. The 240sx had a tuneup like the day before. Out of both cars which do you guys think might be faster? My bro keeps bothering me saying your Z is a piece of crap and belongs in the wreckyard. I honestly don't know why he says that its 100% rust free and has absolutly no problems the 240sx in the other hand when he brakes the steering wheel shakes like crazy like 20 cracks in the dash motor shakes like crazy and so does the shift nob. The only thing special I can think about it is a kill switch.

Whats so good about a fuel cell? Can it carry more gas than a stock tank? Thats what I want... I want to be able to put wayyy more gasoline on my car even though its over 3 dollars for 89 octane. I still run high octanes though.

What I did for weather stripping on my 280zx I got weather stripping from a van I had and just cut off excess and rubber glue where there was a space open. The car has been sitting outside for 4 years I think... no signs of water yet inside the car. Now when I close the door it doesn't sound like it just hit the floor or something.

Wow and you can still go lower than that too huh? I want to get those if I get the coilovers that already come welded all I do is remove stock suspension and put those?

Hmmm I don't know that seems a bit too pricey... A friend I have on myspace does engine swaps he will do an sr20det swap for my 280z and charge 2,500 he supplies the motor he gets everything done within 6 hours or he discounts 50 dollars. Cool huh? For a 240sx Sr20det he charges 2,300 within the 6 hour range.

One more question out of subject is it possible that year 77 280z's are ever going to be smog exempt?

Thanks stealth Z, Datsunlover I dug the car out 2 years or so ago everything was perfect. I was into Z cars long before I dug it up. When my parents gave me permission to dig it out I noticed on the front windshield the letters 280-z were appearing I was going nuts. So nuts I rented a tractor of some sort to dig it out for 120$ an hour. Even that took me a week to get out, but it was worth it so far. Absolutely no rust I took everything off. All the windshields were as if they were like new. The interior was flawless except for the drivers seat missing. I don't think anyone went through the trouble to making a whole and putting it there because it gets really windy up here and I left a pair of shoes outside one day and the next day I couldn't find them. They were burried under 2 feet of sand. Where the car was previously located it was like a mountain but it was like really dry clay. The tractor sometimes lifted up the front wheels when I tried to dig it in.

The only thing that frightens me is with all the opening and closing of the door aren't you scared that the foam and the other thing might begin to break a bit?

The only thing that is working on my car right now is... the only thing I can think of right now is the alternator. Brand new but thanks guys that really helps. I've been to the DMV couple of times but just yesterday I asked a woman and she said there was nothing I could do but I figured I would ask here because it looked like she was having a bad day. Is it possible to register it even when the car isn't running?

Hey I am currently working on a 280z and I am wondering about how to register it because it hasnt ran since the year 88 and I don't have papers for it nobody does. How would I go and register the car I have asked many people on my myspace but nobody seems to have an answer to my question. the car was burried in our old backyard only the roof was showing but surprisingly no rust at all. It was probably a murder vehicle ha ha.

Hey when I was reading what it said about the springs it wont lower the 240z any more than it already is? Is anybody using those springs in a 280z if so can you post atleast one picture to see of how low it will get? I really want to go for a dropped look.

Oh, thanks! I plan on getting some in the next month or so when I get enough money on selling my dirtbike, and maybe get the lowering springs. If I do get them soon I'll show what I did to my Z.

Looks like an 85 corolla or something. Poor corolla I think I've seen that guy somewhere.

2 month or so old thread but I dont think I have to worry about smog because my dad's friend is a manager or so for a smog place and he passed like 6 of our cars and like 10 of our friend's. To repair what was wrong would have costed us a couple hundred dollars but he says " come back on sunday and I'll pass your car for 110$ ."

I'm sorry but my bro got me confused it is a pair only one wheel for the front for the brakes or both wheels? I was also looking through the 240sx brake system things and it says 1395 for both front sides and I'm confused because I don't really want to get 795 and only get one side.

Probably another stupid question but I'm really new to shopping online but is the arizonazcar.com a good place to buy from? I'm realling interested on the front and rear wilwood brake set and lowering springs maybe instead of the coilovers.
