  1. This is an interesting topic for those of us that were fortunate enough to wind up with the 74s. I've located an early 74 with a good set of doors complete with regulators and glass. I'll be able to inform as to the fit on my late 74 soon.
  2. Thanks. Do those rears rub?
  3. Thanks for your response. How about tire size?
  4. Howdy, do you know what and where for the wheels? Thanks.
  5. Sweet hood! More pictures of car?
  6. Seems that as of Oct. of 07 it is available from www.wingswest.com Current price is $290.00.
  7. I see where you were coming from, though, Pop. As far as the XTs go... they are ugly as sin, but they are an engineering masterpiece. 0.29 drag coefficient, AWD, handle amazingly. I dunno, seems like this might be your answer.
  8. Very impressive body work! I hope you'll keep us up to date. 260Mopar
  9. I covetith thy Z. Just changed the color to see what the dirty old rat might look like with the same mods you've done. I hope that you don't take offense, if so, my apologies. 260Mopar
  10. Have you ever found a wing like this one? MSA sold it in the past but not anymore.
  11. Thanks for the reply. That is a wing that MSA carried in the past and it's even pictured in the catalog. There is no number or price for it anymore.
  12. Would anyone know where to get ahold of this wing?
  13. OK. I'm running a 318 in a late 260. Look up how simple it is to hot rod the 318 and then consider that no mount adapters are needed for the engine, just a simple mount for the trans. The distributer is in the back like a Chev so kind of messes with the hood latch, and you don't want too high of an intake manifold. Yes, I said a straight bolt in. Don't tell anyone. Here's some pics http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=760196#post760196
  14. Yeah. What they said. Orrrr, Dulicolor Premium General Purpose Paint Top of the line acrylic enamels offer the ultimate protection, gloss, and color retention. Superior high solids formula ensures maximum coverage and performance. As I said, test it to see. trying to sand off all the primer out of an engine compartment isn't a task that I'd want to tackle. If the Dupli Color is too hot for the primer consider using a different product. These top-of-the-line Dupli-Color® Acrylic Enamels deliver the ultimate protection, gloss and color retention. A superior, high-solids formula ensures maximum coverage and performance.
  15. Being a painter I'd suggest testing coating a small spot. you'll probably be OK if the Rustoleum is good and dry. If no wrinkling occurs then you're in like Flynn. If the Dupli has a hot fast dry solvent it could create a problem. If there is a problem it would show up almost right away.
  16. Chino 240Z, great leg work. Thanks for taking the time.
  17. Did you get them off ebay too?
  18. Looks great Chino! Nice installation. Thanks for the info. I too have a fiberglass hood, a Subtle Z from Reaction Research. Ebay is where I spotted them too but it's an old auction and I can't run down the manufacturer or vendor. Keep up the good work!
  19. Maybe these after markets?
  20. Does anyone know of an outlet for stock 77-78 hood vents?
  21. Umm, sorry for the previous post. These brackets are for rear bumper installation.
