  1. Thanks, looking forward to getting the information.
  2. Thanks, looking forward to getting the information.
  3. They are nice headers, I got three of them, one stainless, and two steel. They are great because they seal up so good and don't leak.
  4. How much is that kit and does the producer have a website?
  5. I wish I could attend but gotta big football game at the Q that night. Maybe I will donate some cash, it is really for a good cause.
  6. I have a 73 sitting at my buddy's house in Phoenix/Chandler. It is rust free with no motor. It has sat for 20 years under a carport on the west side of Phoenix. It has a clear title. The car has some history too. PM me if interested.
  7. Craigslist it...I am sure you will sell a running Olds Rocket in no time.
  8. Sell the Rocket motor to a Rat Rodder and drop in the Chevy motor that is my thoughts. The go fast parts for the Chevy are abundant and cheaper than any others. They say the cheapest HP gain out there is a 350 Chevy motor.
  9. They got them here in all the San Diego stores, I have been to three stores lately and got 2, one yellow and one orange. Good quality nice for the desk at work.
  10. We will be running Panasport 16X10 in the front and 16X12 on the rear. We have not settled on tires as of yet. The car is still in the paint and body shop.
  11. Check out Mickey Thompson tires they cost a lot less. As for wheels we are using a Panasport 3 piece racing wheels. I you can fit a 16X12 or even a 14 under the rear fenders of an IMSA bodykit.
  12. I have two friends that have CarTech set ups. One is brand new never used and the other was on a prestine car for a few years. I know that one set up is always for sale and I think the brand new one could be bought for a price.
  13. This is a rare problem with that part? I have brand new set sitting in the garage waiting to go a project. I have never seen a broken one before.
  14. It's your lucky day, I can get you that setup you desire. It is coming out of a running car, and complete as you want it. It can be mailed tomorrow. I can get picture to you as well. PM me is you want them. It is triple webers with a polished manifold. Linkage included no problem. The set is here in San Diego.
  15. Got the 73 blue with "off" white interior and I think it looks awesome. I want to redo the interior but no one sells "off" white just white. The great part of the off white is that it does not get a dirty as the white or it is less noticable.
  16. Pictures always help to sell things like that. I know they were balanced real well and really ran great on your car, I hope you sell them soon. I wish I needed a set, I would jump right on those.
  17. The manifold is polished polished too. It would help to put a picture of them up too.
  18. My friend is selling a set of Triple Webers here in San Diego, they were working great when removed 2 days ago. I am pretty sure he will sell them with the intake for $800-900 or so.
  19. There was one on Craigslist San Francisco for free.
  20. That dude gave all Z owners a bad name. I can not believe the crap that he said and even worse for one of the first times in my life, I found myself yelling at the TV screen "do buy that Rick...don't do it" Thank god his staff mechanic talked sense into him. The Old Man would have had a coronary when I saw how much Rick paid for it and how much it would cost to make it right. In the end, the Black and Reds don't go for all that much unless. There was that one that was on Fleabay a few times, it had like less than 5000 miles and the guy wanted $20K for it or something. The bottomline is that the tool selling that car did not know what he was talking about. Glad Rick did not make that money pit mistake.
  21. As the owner of two 93 Miatas I can tell that they are very dependable and simple work on. One is a 5sp and one an Automatic, both are tuned very well and neither gets more than 25 MPGs. I got 28 one time in the automatic on a trip from San Diego to Pomona and back. If there is not a need for a backseat the Miata is the way to go.
  22. Steel wheels are pretty damn strong, onless they were submerged in water for years I believe they will be stong enough to use in the application you desire. Take them to the sanblaster and go from there.
  23. Sometimes the simple solution is the one you never thought of: Get the wheels you have sandblasted and powdercoated. Or have them sandplasted and painted. Either is the cheapest way to go, unless the wheels are out of round, which I doubt.
  24. I am going to go with Lizard Skin on my build. The product is not that expensive at all really. I wish I had feedback but my body guy is taking his sweet time. I plan using the heat shield on the side and the noise shield on the inside. I don't think it will add all the much weight.
