  1. I don't think I can clear ant oil line with my motor that I'm building. I'll running fat FJ20DET rods or something similar. I was thinking I can just tap it striaght to the block where the oil flows under pressure. Who know. I might call Sunbelt and see what they can do.
  2. I thinking the same. ceramic coat pistons with oil injectors. I already have a set of pistons with notches on the skirt for oil injector clearance. I just don't think there are any oil source at the bottom of cylinder bore in a L block But if there is a oil source there, I'll be importing me some RB26's oil injectors.
  3. That's sooo cool. No wander the RB can handle so much boost. Does anybody know if that can be adapted to L28T?
  4. Let me guess, you need some money for your turbo motor??? Nice truck btw
  5. Arizona zcar have full counter crank for over $2000. That should be a good start
  6. Well, you probably got the P90 head with the hydrotic lifters. I think you got a bad lifter change it and that should solve the problem. If there is no lifter, adjust it.
  7. kph / 1.6 gives the correct reading. Well, close. say I go 130mph, times 1.6 is 203kph for example.
  8. probaly no enough to tell the difference unless you shave the P90 head. they are same chamber design with different exhaust ports. And the exhaust really doesn't matter far as performance.
  9. How? it's solid tappets right? it must be the valve or something.
  10. let me know the result. $80 isn't bad at all.
  11. Scotty got me thinking about the heat transfering to the intake causing the performance loss. Well, how about ceramic coating the intake? that would keep the exhuast heat to transfer to the intake. Right? Anybody done this before or want to try it?
  12. LJ, I might have to borrow the adapter or copy one off the one you got. It's $350 now. That's not too bad for new Rotomaster. check it and out and tell what you think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1837826210
  13. I'm going to just put T4 rather than hybrid T3/T4 on my turbo motor that I'm building. So with the stock manifold, I would need a adapter to change the manifold flange to T4 bolt pattern right? Well, anybody know where I'm going to be able to find an adapter. I can weld it in in worst case. .93 ex/.60 comp. with P-trim is too big isn't it? I saw one at the ebay. What would be a good trim?
  14. Get you a set of good pistons with good ring land and should be good to turbo some. the F54 block would be prefer for the turbo because there are more support around the cylinder walls.
  15. SS is far better in term of reliability wise. But two things that I'm always concerned me were thethermal expansion of the SS and the price.
  16. ooooooh, I bet since Bell fixed you up, your car will be right. Hurry up and get that thing broken in!
  17. Bigger is good for cooling the air but bigger is also bad because it'll loose more boost. So inless you have lot of boost, the large intercooler will only drops your boost
  18. How is your boost? I want to know how effiecient that big intercooler is.
  19. Lighter rocker arms and retainers will help the high rev. You can have the cam journal too big and have the cam wabble sometime but but normally.
  20. I'm getting the feeling, hypereutectic is out of Q. Do you guys, with access to piston catalogs, check if they make hypereutetic for KA24? I'm about to run ceramic coated KA24 pistons if I can't find a set of hypereutetics. Thanks for all your help.
  21. I emalied Keith Black and see if they can cut one. I'ev not recieve an email back yet but I'll post the result when I do.
  22. Mac has better flow because inside of the muffler, the sound deflectors thing have smoother curve. I've heard of HP gain in 5.0 wih Mac muffler but I guess you can't beat straight through muffler like dynomax.
  23. I'm wandering if anybody manufacturing the for L motor
