Meh, I made my own fiberglass hood with a small cowl.. costed me like 60 bucks in supplies.. =D

Sorry, I wasn't very specific. I am just trying to get that auto tranny out.. once its manual i'm going to start looking for a T5.. and cvs..I appreciate all the information, you guys are a big help... Unlike some forums..

Do you guys know if they make the shafts for 2+2's?

When I get my carpet I will post some pictures for you guys.. i'm getting ensolite too, because I am on a budget right now and it seems like good stuff that is easy to use.. heck.. I don't mind the noise in my car now and its basically a piece of metal with a drivers seat! So I should be happy regardless.

I was going to actually swap in a turbo engine, since thats the case, would I have to change anything in the rear? Would the non-turbo shaft be alright to still use? Eventually I was just going to get a T5, but I heard the T5 can't be hooked up to a 2+2 without special fabrication, correct me if I am wrong of course... Sorry for the questions, haha.

Alright so, the 81 is finally pretty stripped down, it's an auto btw, with the r180. My 83 has the 3.9 r200.. manual of course. The issue is that I am converting my 81 to a manual, and would like to use the r200 off the 83. The 81 is a 2+2, sooooo I have no idea whether the auto driveshaft would fit/work with the manual transmission and rear end off of the 83. Anyone know? =/

mgmzone, i'm going to by that ensolite this week and see how it sounds, and probably gonna grab a 2+2 carpet from datsunstore because I haven't seen any company that can even come close to their price.. I don't mind doing a little trimming. =]

The cars hood was taken off a few minutes before the pictures were taken.. so don't worry.. the only rust the car really has is the floorboards.. the panels arent bad. The is is currently covered, so it should be fine.

Sir Daniels car has so much though and work into it.. but its too ricey and tuner for me.. I'd just go with something nice, classic, sporty, and not overboard with color and graphics. Hopefully my car will turn out really nice... but I think all the fiberglass might clash with the seats and carpet. >.>

I would post a picture... but the weather is crappy and its dark outside. I have a brown 2+2 with tan interior,( Payed 700 for it from a nice old couple, Very tiny rust.. runs Great! ) i'm currently stripping it down and am already fiberglassing the entire interior of the car. ( minus carpet and seats of course ) It's going to be my baby.. Luckily I found a 83 coupe manual for a good parts car.. and will be swapping that trans soon. The 2+2 will be black, with black cherry trim inside and under the hood.. plus some exterior and interior mods I won't mention just yet. Its going to be fiberglass on wheels! My actual goal is to get the car as light as possible, just to see how much weight I can really shave off a car, and yes, i'm aware a 2+2 is like 190 more pounds than a coupe. ;P But I like it!

Saw this add in ebay and its alot cheaper than I seen anywhere else... It says that they fit all models Except the 2+2's? Everywhere else advertised says it fits All of them, not excluding 2+2. Would I be better off getting the tokico struts and a different pair of springs? Thanks guys.

Yeah.. not trying to be a cheapo, but does anyone get discounts on any POR15 products? I'll pay if you get me some of their stuff cheaper. Thanks guys.
