I have seen worse.. but didn't you guys know? side vents are 5 HP, hoodscoop is 10hp, and the rims reduce your 0-60 by 1 second.

UPDATE! I officially removed the engine out of the Z, well... I posted that already, but here is a vid! Hopefully sometime this week I can get my sway bars and some other misc small parts sand blasted, and I will paint them with POR15. *thumbs up* Tomorrow I will be removing the gas tank and rear end of the car... Then the car will be offically just a frame. More to come!

Well, first Jerry, you can't bolt a turbo onto an N/A Z unless you have the turbo exhaust mani, as well as a turbo distributor, blah blah... of course.. besides that, you wouldn't be able to use the N/A MAF , but you Can use the stock N/A ECU, but you will be limited on boost. I would recommend reading around the site, and depending on your power needs, possibly look into an aftermarket engine management system such as megasquirt. There is TONS of info covered on this site... search! Hope this helped you out some bud.

I think he means to say Exhaust manifold gasket, unless he has actual headers.. I would go with what chemicalblue said, if you have an exhaust leak it will screw the car, check your spark plugs, wires.. etc..

Updaaate. After being busy and stuff, I haven't really updated.. also the lack of internet plays a role. So here is some pictures of whats up, and also was getting ready to take the engine out, I will have another update soon. Got the engine out 2 days ago, will post a video later! Also got a turbo engine that was rebuilt, so things look promising! Hopefully I can get the car blasted and then start on the body work.

Hey twisted, I saw your car on craigslist a few weeks ago and was sad, hoping you weren't going to sell it. To be honest, I took the Entire interior or my car apart with a interchangeable end screwdriver and a wratchet... Only broke a few tiny interior clips, Only because they were brittled and cracked from the sun. GJ on the progress so far, I hope all goes well.

What if you made part of the gasket out of nylon ( or other preferred material for the Intake) and made the other part out of metal for the exhaust? I'm not sure how well that loctite gasket sealer would work on the two.. could also heat wrap the exhaust manifold and see what happens.. maybe wrap the intake too? Out of assumption, that would be a very cool running system if it worked.. and would still keep the manifold hot so exhaust gases could scatter properly. ideas ideas ideas.. maybe I should get my car painted and taken completely apart first!

474k?? Wow.. good deal.I know, I have never seen a 2-door in real life, so I guess that was more of a convincing reason to get it.. plus the interior is Mint! Everytime something started to get old she got it replaced with a new part. =]But yeah.. It has 74,173 miles now... Had to do a bit of cruising. *thumbs up*
