  1. Could keep from running but usually you will get it to start then die. If it's just cranking and cranking make sure the on crank run wire is getting power in the crank on and run position. Seen several people give that wire power in only the on position.

  3. His is 99 dom dbw didn't fully come into play until 2003. Should be cable drive.
  4. Connectors are completely different. I had to order new plugs and solder them.
  5. Y'all can't take your pans off with out lifting the motor?
  6. I have 3:08 and 6th gear is completely pointless. I would do the 3:90 personally.
  7. You can run the 5.3 harness but the injector plugs will need to be changed. Both engine are 24 tooth reluctor wheels and all other plugs are the same.
  8. First swap was about 6 months. With the turbo I changed the whole 4 link setup I've put maybe 500 miles worth of burn outs on it. I paid $160 for the 8.8 $300 on axles. You will have to narrow it by about 7-8 inches. I had a 4 link and coil overs sitting here so it didn't cost me much.
  9. Do the solid axle is my vote. I broke at least one axle a week in the stock setup. My 8.8 is holding strong.......for now.
  10. Wiring on an ls1 is simply just buy a wiring harness and follow the instructions.
  11. Had my MAF calc tables too low had raise them up to trick the computer. Waiting on a wide so I can play with the tune some more.
  12. Pink wire should go to you toggle switch. That should be on start crank run wire
  13. 99-02 not a 98. 99-02 has a better ecu. But i guess a 98 if it's dirt cheap.
  14. Listen to dom. Donor car is the way to go. A wrecked one should be around $2000-$3000 and has everything you need minus some small things. Both dom and I had less than $5000 into our cars including the price of the cars.
  15. Maybe 8-9 psi needs a tune in a bad way and sway bar and alignment and sound deadener and carper and I'm tired of typing. It's a big list.
  16. I ran a 3500 in my trans am drove it daily. Worked great never had any drivability problems.
