    Yip! fuel filter!! And rust in the gas tank. Take the gas tank to a radiator shop and have them boil the tank! Under a hundred bucks....

    I am back! Spring is here and I am inspired to work on the ol' Datsun. Iv'e been seriously contemplating a new cam design with DELTA CAMSHAFT of Tacoma, to maximize my roots supercharger project. Anyone ever heard of the Miller cycle? Sounds intriguing to me. Actually looks like a stage 2 Turbo cam to me, I will have to map it out...

    Perhaps your distributor is installed 180* out? The car would still run but horribly. It will still idle kinda wierd and that may explain the strange timing numbers.

    YES! You used the injector calculator; flow rate vs fuel pressure? Then Yes! type in 402@ 36....

    I took these side skirts off of a '90s minivan something like an Olds or Eurovan can't remember! Then I just cut the ends off to fit. They are definately not aero functional but they do fatten up the rockers a bit

    These things have been aroun for @ least 25yrs or more. Motorsport Auto still sells them, kinda pricey though.

    Got this whale tail from a friend of mine. I've had it propped up on my car for a couple days trying to get used to the look. @ some angles it looks really cool and other angles it looks somewhat overwhelming. From what I've read, these tails are super efficient with almost zero drag but I don't want it to look like a kids car either!

    I can't believe that nobody has asked how do I get my hood open!

    Well, after alot of research on wind tunnel testing and aero, I realize I got some work to do blocking off that huge gaping hole! That explains the high speed stability probs that I have always had and this front nose should only make it worse! I can actually see the hood metal flex from the air pressures. Oh well, back to the drawing board....

    Sorry Vega, oneyear later...Took the dist. out and went EDIS. Dont know about the header vs. stock ex. but the header provided the perfect clearance. No more pics of the bracket but there was alot of alignment tweeking!

    You guys are right about the BIG MOUTH air intake. Even given the smaller than stock intake, the lower spoiler helps draw more air in. My original idea was to divide the air intake to brakes and intercooler. A vented '77 hood work for under hood air pressure good enough?

    Thnx for the chimes fellow z'ers!! I actually wanted the BIG MOUTH BASS look. Actually, the air intake to the engine is still smaller than the stock configurization!! IMO, I need to add A stylish grill... And I'm not worried about drag, because, I AM SUPERCHARGED!!!
