  2. I just got it in the mail today and what was listed as a t3/t4 hybrid turned out to be a ball bearing t28. Errr...lol. it's a nice piece but not what I needed. So, now I'm hoping to trade it for a t3/t4 or a nice t3 and downpipe.
  3. I'm looking for an apater to bolt a t3/t4 up to the stock zx manifold. I've looked on ebay and found several but it looks like there are a couple different flanges that coupled the t3 to different makes, so I was wanting one that fit our cars, obviously. lol The flange on my compressor housing is bolt hole, center to center 3" x 1 1/8". Thanks fellas
  4. I'm sorry man, but the answer is NO. You need to carefully read the product data sheets before you spray anything on your car. Before, it was recommended to use an etching primer that 'soaked' into the pores of the steel but now the epoxy primers the paint companies are making are a better direct to metal sealer. That humidity will leave a moisture underneath the clearcoat that is already boot designed as a dtm product. Im not trying to be arrogant but I do hate for you to waste money when I personally dClassic Kustomson't think it would last a year. Check out my facebook, it has pics of my 280 from stripping it thru 2 different primers to paint.
  5. I use 'Rust-Mort' made by SEM...it's main active ingrediant is phosphoric acid that sets in the rust and eats it but doesnt damage the steel. Clean with laquer thinner, and then apply an epoxy primer directly to the metal. Ive got about a dozen classics including my own Z with no problems of rust returning in the last 10 yrs. On my facebook, there was several photos of the bodywork on my 76 if u wanna check it out. Facebook.com/classickustomsgarage
  6. I just done this conversion on my 76 because I assumed that my stock alternator went out. It was so cheap to buy the new zx piece, I slapped it on and it changed nothing. I had not went thru the troubleshooting to discover that all that had went out was my charge lamp. You need to pull it out and check it for continuity if it doesnt come on with the switch in on position. 49 cent fix and havnt had any probs since.
  7. Hey guys, I need a front hub for my 76. May also need the spindle, idk yet. It spun the outter wheel bearing about a week ago. If anyone has one laying around to sell, please send me prices + shipping to 35962. Thanks alot.
