I have a worn out 240z steering rack. I tightened the screw a lot and it made a huge difference. But I feel that to get a precision feel I need a new rack. What say yea?
Secondly, Does nissan still stock oem racks?
Thirdly can I use 280z racks?
Fourly I think I may need a slow ratio because I will run 245 on 9 inch rims. Which is the slowest?
Where do I get the tie rod ends and such?
thanks
Supra 1994 Ind Rear Suspension for sale on ebay. Just letting you know. Must be a brave man to attempt the swap, but would be very cool with bullet proof Gleason Dif.

Greetings,
I am a Californian, but I am in Austria now, I will walk the city and light endless firecrackers. You can throw then on the ground in a crowd area. People just jump out of the way,...or not. Then we smash our wine glasses on the ground and go to bed...That's what they do here it is CRAZY!!! What are you doing?

What you be talking about Willis?

Not sure what gema response means. s2000 motor have nothing to do with type r and crx, etc. nor swapping... S2000 are not transverse. Only will work in a rear drive. Anyway it seems like a real nice motor. I think it would be a great deal too. For $3500 you could have a low mile motor with good trans, ecu, etc. and there would be no intercoolers or piping to run the price tag up.
Well I think I will use the Q45 3.113 or the supra 3.24 gleason then, see the gleason post. Right now I am in Austria and starving for some good, american food. I will be back in jan early so I will get my car together hopefully soon to race in sac.
I got an ideas from a member here, to use my 1994 6 sp supra differential into my 240Z. It looks do able I would just use axles that changed from supra one end to 230 splines (if they are different).

Now is the Q45 R200 viscuous and how does that compare. THe gleason looks cool.

We have discussed this at length so now please give you insight. I have a 2JZ-GTE Supra turbo engine, manual trans, and would like to run slicks without worry.

I want to know about durability...
Supra 6 Speed V160
1st - 3.827:1
2nd - 2.360:1
3rd - 1.685:1
4th - 1.312:1
5th - 1.00:1
6th - 0.793:1
tire 245/40/17 ~24.4" tall
Final drive wanted 2.96
present drive is 3.55 and the engine is tached up to 2800 on the freeway. Desired is 2300 rpm.
I am concerned about axles strength if I use the old R200 case...
That sounds good, but the the axles are not up to snuff. How strong are the 280zxt?
Thanks for the info, but then all this info begs the question: If the old R200 has the same strength as the later R200, then why bother? Unfortuately I need a ration around 3.00 for my V160 trans.
Q45
"G50 - Up to 96 - R200V LSD 3.538 ratio"
"FY33 - Second series with 4.1L - R200V LSD 3.692 ratio"
"F50 - Current Model - R200 2 pinion open 3.133 ratio"
300zx R2304.09
300zx TT R230 3.69
Does't a 2.76 and a 3.11 exist???
Is the R200V as strong as a R230? WHat's the difference?
