Here is my experience: Imports where not accepted in the midwest the east rusty any that made it that far. High population areas have old imports ie san fran. Also most all exotics end up in. Cali texas new york/jersey florida and somewhat in Chicago Look for supra TT, rx-7, lambos and you will find I am right.

Hey Darius, How many PSI of boost do figure you need to run 700 RWHP? I figure ~ with a hot 383. Compression? Richard is still going install your old supercharger on his 240 whenever he gets around to it.

Here is my new 3 1/2" exhaust. Ok so I installed and AVC-R (Boost Controller) and set it to 17 PSI. The car has whole new attitude because instead of the boost spiking to 15 it go and stays at 17 PSI. With 3.0 liters, 2 turbos, 24 valves and a 6800 RPM redline. This thing pulls like a frieght train and is scary like my CBR900RR was. Must be at least 350 RWHP. I will dyno it on friday.

I have been using 100 octane and using toluene with 91. Toluene is 114 oct and 10 a gallon. so 3 gallons of 91 with a gallon of toluene is 3gallons (91) + 1 gallon (114) ----------------------------- = 97 octane 4 gallons right now I have 16 PSI and am keeping it on the safe side. (2jz-gte). I have been told 15 psi is do able with 91.

I just got an Innovative LM-1 which I am just learning to use but can say that if you have a modded turbo car, buy it. I am trying to set the fuel at 12.0 but that is not easy to do on the road. A long 5 gear pull would be nice but not realistic, so I might go to dyno. I need to start posting picture of this stuff, unfortunately I do not have a service that will do this yet.

I just got a miller 210 mig-o-matic, which ROCKSSS! I just finished welding up my 3.5" exhaust system. The car is still quiet and the boost jumped from 11 to 16 PSI. 400RWHP here I come.

I am tired of fooling around. I am now fabricating a full 3.5 inch (monster) exhaust system with formed bends and straight through mufflers. I also installed an Apexi SAFC II for fuel ratio. A Greddy BBC to eliminate the fuel cut that occurs at 15 PSI. A Apexi AVC-R to set the boost at 18 PSI. A Innovative Wide band sensor to keep the whole thing from blowing up. This car now sounds "ANGRY" under full throttle!

As far as traction goes "Drag Radial". These tires are amazing. My BFGs 205/70/14 with an open dif ,are holding 330 rhp with ease. I as so amazed it was the best money ever spent on the car.

I am need a welder TIG or MIG? I have questioins. First I would like weld mostly steel but some aluminum, but my work has a tig so maybe that would be sufficient to fab a few parts there. I have been looking at the miller 180 syncrowave SD. I want to know if 180 amps is enough and will I be wanting more features soon. My other choice is to go with a mig this would save about $900. Welders what do you think would be the most useful?

How is that legal? I do not think that they can force you to open your hood. You must give consent unless they have probable cause...

I priced SPD and $83 BUCKS per ELBOW 3.5" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... Anything cheaper?

I think I've got it handled the engine runs at 12.8 AR and I need a SAFC to bring it down to 11.5 to 12.0. AR

All those place seemed to not sell aluminized steel. who sells that? I believe stainless is hard to weld and $$$.

we all say it is never enough but I think that 400 RRWHP (Real rear wheel horse power) is good in a light 2500 car. 450 in a 3000lb car. To much beyond that and the traction becomes an issue.
