  1. Wow I had not heard of this project and I work for a company that supplies components for natural gas compressors. We work primarily on recip compressors for gas pipeline. It is good to see a decent size project using natural gas as our market has been really down this year. Thanks for the info.
  2. What is the plant that is going in. I could use a more stable job, my company is not doing very well and I would be interested in seeing what is available. Thanks,
  3. I live in Newark Ohio but work in Cambridge Ohio, not far from Marrietta. I looked at houses around the Cambridge Ohio area. The cost of living around Cambridge is pretty inexpensive. Land is rather cheap as go go South of Cambridge. There are many farms for sale that would make an Ideal place to build a Z or anythig else for that matter.
  4. Hi guys, I live In Newark Ohio (just East of Columbus) I am just starting my Z conversion. I have a 71 with the body work finished and a 72 for parts. I also have a LT-1 but have not started putting it together yet. I would be interested in seeing what other people in the area are working on.
  5. I have a 96 Corvette LT1 that has been converted to speed density by Howell Engineering. I did not have the conversion done, I bought my engine out of a wrecked 84 Camaro that was professionally upgraded. I think the conversion was done to allow for easier intake plumbing. This motor does use the stock 96 computer. On the side of the computer there is writing in marker indicating that it was a 6 speed MAF setup but is now a Automatic/ Speed density setup. You may want to contact Howell Engineering about your question. Good Luck
  6. There is an evaporator with expansion valve and evaporator housing on EBAY right now and cheap. This is the original add on setup that would have been added at the dealer. It is installed on the inlet to the heater fan. I understand this can be tricky to seal and that a pusher fan may be needed ti help airflow, but I think this would be the easiest way to add air to an existing Z. I am considering a similiar setup for my LT1 conversion. I already have a factory evaporater and housing and plan on using a condensor and other parts including maybe the evaporator from a junkyard car. I already have a R134 compressor on the LT1.
