  1. Royal Purple has about the same gains? Thats pretty impressive.
  2. That SRT-4 was faster than that Vette. I liked how you got off the gas with the vette, and then got back on it a few times haha. Priceless
  3. Bring it in $5's and have it in a suitcase. Even if its in nice shape, try and gnab it for like $2,300.
  4. The L28 is sitting in my garage, and soon so will an L24 w/4speed. I may sell them.
  5. I don't remember exactly, but yes it was totaled out, we got about $21k for the car (they didn't know about the blower) and we bought it back for the low 3k's.
  6. If you are going to restore it I would go with the 240z for collectible purposes like Phantom said.
  7. Looks good. I was going to get one of those, but I decided to get the air dam instead.
  8. I would like to put them in my Z, but they weigh more than I'd like, and I am going to be running a harness setup, so they wont work too great. They are really really comfortable though
  9. Dang, 11 more whp. I wonder if its really worth the ~$12/qt. Oh, and to answer your question Mario, yes! My SN is jhombre on the Tucsonz forums
  10. A local motorsports shop owner here in Tucson was telling me today that LS1/LS2's are seeing double digit WHP gains from using Eneos motor oil. It is pretty expensive oil, about $10-12/qt, for fully synthetic. Has anyone tried it/ want to try it out?
  11. Found the Chinese Fire Drill racing video on that site, priceless.
  12. I know that the MPG varies between a 4L60E, and a T-56 and the way the driver drives is, but my 4L60E GTO (ls1) got 17-25 city (and thats babying the gas pedal), and I don't remember the highway MPGs. If you prefer a stick, get the 6 speed, you will most likely be happier with it and I personally haven't hear complaints about having too many gears. I am building an LS1 Z car, but I am not that far into my project, I am using the automatic transmission, I want to go the T-56 route, but I don't want to add ~$1,500-$1,700 to my build cost. Hope I helped you out some!
  13. Oh alright. I am going to try and make it out to the next Tucson Z event too, so I will see you there.
  14. I cant sleep at night, its official. Parts cant come fast enough.
  15. I have lojack on my laptop. And when I get my Z done, it will have lojack in it too. Along with some other goodies. I do however like the destruct button. Dude I am so sorry about your loss, Is your insurance going to cover anything?
  16. What coil over system does he have, I assume it sits very very low, I want mine to be low with some fat rubber on the rear
  17. Is that a crack free dash too? I think I spy a crack... could be wrong tho
  18. From what I understand, fixing that kind of rust requires a good amount of money. Are you getting the car for super cheap?
  19. The front seats from the GTO are black, in almost perfect shape (seat wiring harness still in tact), one of them needs the plastic seat belt cover replaced, which is a cheap fix. The front two buckets go from $350-$450 + Shipping. Shipping may be expensive, I would prefer the buyer arrange the shipping.
  20. Holy... thats awesome! Is that a GTO/Commodore gauge cluster too?
  21. Haha yeah. Your Z will be pretty damn quick with that RB25 in there. Are you going to upgrade the turbos?
  22. The V8 grumble is the best. I miss how our GTO sounded, so I hope this sounds just as angry if not better. I am awaiting my boxes to come in the mail, I hope they come by Saturday so I can work on it on my days off! I had heard good and bad things about an RB swap, oiling/cooling/stock turbos being jacked when it comes in the mail etc etc. So... I'll keep my LS1 that I've got and I have been stickin' to it ever since. Once I saw Grenade300's in person that was inspiration to get mine going / done.
