  1. I would rather have a happy medium. honestly. I want to have a fast 1/4 mile car, but not way to rediculous for streetablity.
  2. Thanks for all the info guys. I am going to be putting an LS1 in my 240z with the 4 Speed Auto tranny and possibly a Procharger. I was also wondering what ratio would be best? Sorry if I am asking noob questions
  3. I was wondering how much you guys paid for your R200 diff's. Which Nissan car did you get them off of/year? When I get my project under way I just want to know whats going to be best.
  4. Hmm, that Z is very very nice. Its kind of hard to decide. On one hand you got it for disgustingly cheap, which makes selling it appealing to bank a few thousand dollars. And on the other hand, you got an uber cheap Z thats in really good shape that has a very solid frame, it would be a sweet candidate for a V8, seeing how if you get the V8 in there lookin clean, your not sitting there like "hmm, the car is fast but looks half assed on the outside, lets do the outside." I am going for the Look original on the outside (besides the air dam, BRE Spoiler, and rims/tires) But under the hood. LS1 baby
  5. I think thats gonna be the Skyline haha. I dont think they will turbo the Z because it would compete with Skyline sales too much.
  6. I have seen a 350z with a procharger system on it. It was pretty nice and sounds sweet! I love the sound of the VQ35 taking off, the exhaust sounds so bad ass
  7. Your guys' dashes look amazing. They are beautifully done. I hope one day my Z will be that amazing. The suede and soft vinyl look stunning. You guys give us all something to aspire too!
  8. Yeah, I do think June may be too soon of a guess, but I would really her to be swapped and running by the end of '08
  9. Haha this is going to sound funny, but my dad looked like you when he was in high school
  10. If you find some integra type r seats, those are pretty nice, I think some of them have suede on em
  11. ^ I'm with you dude haha. I want my Z done by June but uh... I don't know if thats going to be reality. I guess I just want the engine and transmission mounted in the chassis!
  12. Ive got 2 so far. I was unbolting the exhaust from under our wrecked GTO and when I gave the bolt some pressure, it loosened and I slammed my hand on the metal under the car which hurt like crazy. I just sorta layed there and said some profane things. Second, when we were procharging the GTO I was under the front of the car and some dirt went up my nose and I started coughing and I sorta vomited in my mouth and when I went to get up I slammed my forehead into the car when I thought I was clear. I kinda felt like an idiot. but yeah no serious injuries yet.
  13. That BOV was awesome, I like the car! Looked like fun
  14. Yeah, good idea. Yeah, I will have to try this, I am about 5' 10" but my buddy is gonna help. Wish me luck haha
  15. Hmm, I have just heard that slotted rotors help a lot with heat dissapation. Maybe I was misinformed
  16. haha your response to my quote had nothing at all do with what I said lol. And dude if you like the bimmer get it. Parts may be a little hard to come by, but as long as it makes you happy do it Just be smart.
  17. Haha, thats what I said about my Project Z! I paid my tuition today for 4 classes at Community college ... $638 gone
  18. I would much rather have an Ls2 Z. The Z just has that timeless look and turns heads all the time, and Mustangs are everywhere now. Also needless to say your Z would have those ponies for lunch anytime haha. ^ Unfortunately he wasn't, if he was, I would be beginning to think Ford was paying him to wear all that junk lol.
  19. Very good call. I will have to do that instead of jacking it up. Replacing the cable shouldn't be a nightmare... I hope
  20. Lookin good. It almost looks like the front left fender flare is warped a little but, but maybe its the light... Any insight?
