Damn Dan! Thanks! I am just trying to be different with my next project. thats an awesome idea. I also thought about the VR front clip and your rear clip YZ? But After second thought The whole kit would be sweet on a hard top with the front and rear panels filled in. I would add some skyline rear tail lights too. I may be going back to Japan in the near future so I will be going to some junk yards. Oh yeah a sun roof is a must for a hard top as well. Anyone want to PHOTO SHOP the ideas? Also with a Taurus fan I dont think cooling would be a problem. It is similiar to the GNOSE and wouldnt have a turbo or aircon condenser blocking the way....thanks for the replies...I think we are onto something here. Terry

Car looks great! One word of advice just because it happened to me. On your exhaust coming out the back where it bends by ur tires. In the pics it looks very close to the rear tires and the inside of the tires at the top edges look like they my be either rubbing the pipes or getting excess heat from the pipes. Mine was just like that and it wore rubber off the tire to a point I had to change the tires. I pulled the pipes in with heating and welded a band between them in the back. That took care of it. I wanted to bring this up because I didnt even know until it was almost too late...wouldnt want a tire exploding at high speeds etc. The pics my be misleading as well. Let us know if that is the case. Oh yeah...I want a ride! Terry

Roger that, Well I brake stall to 2500 then let go. It flashed to 3500 or so. I usually have no wheel spin. I am just afraid to NOS off the line at this point. Car should be good for high tens or very low elevens on a 100 shot at the right PSI. I guess Ill find out next month. Will post results later... CZ

Hey guys I have a question. I was pulling a 1.67 60 footer after my stall convertor change. I have the CV upgrade but stock stub axles from my 240Z. At what 60 foot times do the stub axles have the potential to break? Im asking because I want to launch with a 100 shot in first but am worried itll break. With an extra 100 horses I should easily break into the 1.5s or so. Anyone know anything about this before I try it. Track here opens Feb 12th and Im ready to go. The 1.67 was also on a bent pedal so i assume maybe more after a little more practice... CorZette

Can anyone tell me if there is any advantage over a dual carb intake vs a single? Lets say my current 750DP vs a dual Holley 450/500 or such? Any suggestions? CZ

Just look at mine in my website. Ive had the L88 on all of my Z cars. You need to order the biggest one they have. There are two sizes I think. It looks great but you need flare to accent it. CorZette

Hey Pound, definately go with the Polymer Gear. I have a steel Roller as well and it ate my stock gear to shreds in about 3 to 4 days. I have had the Polymer gear on there now for almost two years with little or no wear. A GREAT investment. Not to mention possibly saving your engine. Youll freak when you first feel it. It looks and feels like PLASTIC. Doesnt make any sense how it works but it does.... Terry

Well I just got out last January after 22 years in the Marine Corps. I could have taken First Sergeant to stay another two years but would have wound up right back over there again. Bottom line is they will keep you as long as they need you. "STOP LOSS" goes into effect when ever they want to keep you. Theres nothing you can do to stop it. However yearly rotations are in effect. That means you go home take leave and then become redeployable. I am assuming you are inthe Army so your chances may be less than mine were. We only have about 175,000 Marines and we are the first to fight. All Im saying is that you may be luckier than I was since the Army has a much higher number. The Marine Corps is like a six man football team in a B school. Everybody can quarter back and recieve and everyone plays all sports just because we are so few. Good Luck What is your MOS?
