  3. Can anyone tell me what is needed to run alchohol on the 350? Do I need to just buy an Alchohol carb and go or???? How much HP gain should there be between the two. Im at 400 now. Terry
  4. Ran last night and finally got her into the elevens with the 350. Still only engine no NOS. NOT LOCKED IN THIRD Quarter 11.98 @ 110.94 Eighth 7.58 @ 89.33 60 Foot 1.64 DIDnt run in lock mode but tested MPH and ran 112.76 vs 110.94 Locked on a 3500 stall. NOS (Very Weird) 100 shot 11.90 at 117 havent figured it out yet I guess. Had problems launching after the 11.98 pass without NOS. Track was getting worse each run. I still have a better launch in there cuz I was launching at 2100 brake stall. It will stall to 2500 so maybe a 1.59 is possible with good track conditions. I gotta get to Ennis!!!! One step at a time. I know what Scotty means by tuning tuning tuning. The suspension tuning is just as important! Ok now what????? 11.8s of coarse! Terry

  6. Wow..I pay about $22 a month for liability on my 73Z. Told them I drive it about 1000 miles a year. I cant believe how fast 1000 miles adds up even just on weekends....USAA but Im 42 no tickets or claims ever... CZ

  9. Damn Dan! Thanks! I am just trying to be different with my next project. thats an awesome idea. I also thought about the VR front clip and your rear clip YZ? But After second thought The whole kit would be sweet on a hard top with the front and rear panels filled in. I would add some skyline rear tail lights too. I may be going back to Japan in the near future so I will be going to some junk yards. Oh yeah a sun roof is a must for a hard top as well. Anyone want to PHOTO SHOP the ideas? Also with a Taurus fan I dont think cooling would be a problem. It is similiar to the GNOSE and wouldnt have a turbo or aircon condenser blocking the way....thanks for the replies...I think we are onto something here. Terry

I m still getting parts together for the upgrade but I did put in a 3500 stall, man what a difference. I have a 100 shot of NOS to get used to as well but I would much rather have your car...he he.   14. Car looks great! One word of advice just because it happened to me. On your exhaust coming out the back where it bends by ur tires. In the pics it looks very close to the rear tires and the inside of the tires at the top edges look like they my be either rubbing the pipes or getting excess heat from the pipes. Mine was just like that and it wore rubber off the tire to a point I had to change the tires. I pulled the pipes in with heating and welded a band between them in the back. That took care of it. I wanted to bring this up because I didnt even know until it was almost too late...wouldnt want a tire exploding at high speeds etc. The pics my be misleading as well. Let us know if that is the case. Oh yeah...I want a ride! Terry

  18. Roger that, Well I brake stall to 2500 then let go. It flashed to 3500 or so. I usually have no wheel spin. I am just afraid to NOS off the line at this point. Car should be good for high tens or very low elevens on a 100 shot at the right PSI. I guess Ill find out next month. Will post results later... CZ
  19. Hey guys I have a question. I was pulling a 1.67 60 footer after my stall convertor change. I have the CV upgrade but stock stub axles from my 240Z. At what 60 foot times do the stub axles have the potential to break? Im asking because I want to launch with a 100 shot in first but am worried itll break. With an extra 100 horses I should easily break into the 1.5s or so. Anyone know anything about this before I try it. Track here opens Feb 12th and Im ready to go. The 1.67 was also on a bent pedal so i assume maybe more after a little more practice... CorZette
  20. Can anyone tell me if there is any advantage over a dual carb intake vs a single? Lets say my current 750DP vs a dual Holley 450/500 or such? Any suggestions? CZ
