  1. Does any body know of any one that uses spirit garage coilovers, I would love to get some, probably super expensive tho. John
  2. Do what tim suggested. If you dont have the resources to do it yourself take it to a auto detailing shop. John
  3. Man I wish I could've seen his face. Good story.
  4. . Man I would love to have a E55 AMG, he blows the doors off that mustang stock.
  5. Jeresey what color paint is that. I plan to paint my 280zt the orang spice color from mazda. Looking good by the way. John
  6. Same here Pete. I think thier studies prove to be somewhat true.
  7. True, i think it would start getting tedious after reading a whole book like that. Dnot you tihnk.
  8. I have been thinking about coilovers for some time know, but have been questioning the advantages of them, what are the advantages. Also my car would be set up for a street/ and the occasional autox and dragstrip what would be the best spring rate. Thanks, John
  9. Man I would love to have some spirit garage coilovers on my z, only wish I had the money .
  10. Keep us updated on the progress, I'd like to know how this thing turns out. By the way my dad just got a infiniti q45 driveline, you guys got any ideas for a swap.
  11. Very good and Very true, good post.
  12. I think you should turn that thing into a total sleeper. One of my friends has a 71' corolla sr-5, its a really neat car. It has the stock motor with tripple webbers, cams, headers, intake, exhaust, he kills all the civics. But I think the celica with the v8 would be a fun street car. People wouldnt even know what hit em'.
  13. Sounds pretty cool, what are his plans for the car, and good luck. John
  14. My mom used to drive a 928gts, until it got stolen . My dad says the car was a pain to work on, but thats because he's only worked on japanese imports. I personally want a 968 or a 944 turbo if I were to buy a porsche, but I've grown quite fond of the z. Good luck with the new car John
  15. Looks to me like he didnt use the supra bumper. Doesnt look identical to a supra, but any thing looks better than a probe.
  16. I drove the G35 ( it was one of my dads friends), your speed is very deceiving and the power delivery is very linear, you dont even realiz how fast your accelerating. But overall I wasn't all that impressed with it. I like a car where you can feel how fast it is.
  17. For a car to beat the racers and a daily driver the l28et, which comes out of a 280zx turbo would be enough power, especially if you add a intercooler and boost. I must say though I would love to have a twin cam inline six twinturbo or single turbo toyota motor in my z, I just love the toyota twin cam motors.
  18. I like the idea of a bre replica, always thought it would be neat to see one on the track. What kind of power do you plan on putting out. John
  19. Ok I'm still thinking about the coil overs, have any of you guys sectioned your struts, and also is there any need to lower the car more than 1.5 inches. Thanks for the info John
  20. To run coil overs do you have to section the struts, I am planning using tokico illumina's, but I am not sure if I want to use lowereing springs or coilovers. Are the coil overs a whole lot better than the lowering springs. Thanks John

    driveshaft?

I think auxilary means their is no skyline 6spd tranny for rear wheel drive applications, you have to use a 5 speed rear wheel drive tranny from a gts skyline. John
  22. Man I didnt know that gold zx had a rb in it, that makes it even better. By the way I love the way they continue the rear flares into the door. John
  23. Dave I uploaded some pics in the album. Its of a zx with some rear flares, I have no idea where the flares are from or if there custom. John
  24. Same here, i just think that you run into to many problems with a carbuerated turbo.
