Well I got my new used down pipe in the mail.. Oh man is it ever sweet. 45 deg bends.. Far superior to my stock down pipe. This is one of the famous ScottieGNZ limited edition down pipes. All stainless with flanges. He had a friend with a extra one.. Thanks soo much for taking the time to make the limited run a few years ago and also Thanks to Tyler Scotties friend who sold the DP to me. The build and design are top notch for sure!!.. I plan on installing it this weekend.. I hope.. Here are a couple of pics..Maybe 12s are in my near future!!!
I had the stock J pipe but got a 90 from JC whitney.. It is 2" outside diameter.. as for the coupler at the turbo.. I used high quality Silicone connector as I have through out my system..
-- As for using electric fans with out the shroud.. I have zero problems about heating up.. Here in south Alabama.. summers are VERY hot. I have not had any overheating problems. I do have a turbo radiator though.. I hear they are alittle thicker then stock 240-280s.. Good luck with the intercooler pipeing
Here is a pic of mine..
The IC is the smaller NPR I had the inlet and outlet changed though.. Here is the before and after pics of that ..

LOL yeah if only they would tell the people buying cars that the car is equiped with a snitch device like this.. Man this just seems like intrusion to me. whats next.. home envasion?? I guess I will just keep buying older cars.. Yikes this scares me..
I talked with my buddy that works at nissan that has a Z32TT.He did say that Z32 TT stock injectors are 370CCs.. But he could not tell me about the n/a or turbo Z31 injectors.. I do have the parts numbers for both though.. turbo part number is 1660019P12... N/A is A660079s11.. I would not trust that the Z31 n/a injectors are 370CC..
I think you might want to do some more research on that.. Also have them bench flowed.. Looks like the n/a 300zx injectors flow around 187CCs.. I believe the turbo injectors flow 270CCs. Follow this link and go down to lucus..

david that is awesome!!.. not bad at all man!!..So the rules go you can only spend 2005 bucks? is that just on mods or the whole thing? at anyrate.. NOT BAD ON THE TIMES MAN!!.. 13.01 is awesome.. .. congrats man.
Awesome Terry, You will get 10s with the 150 shot for sure.. Its nice to be the fastest that drove to the track eh? not like I would know or anything.. but I can dream...lol Good luck man!!
Thoes dents are most likely caused from preignition or pinging.. Sounds like you have been running alittle too much boost with out enough fuel eh? As far as the cylender wall..you will most likely need to tear the motor down have the block honed and get your pistons checked out. You might want to at least drop your oil pan to see if you have any piston skirts sitting at the bottom..Looks like a rebuild is in your future..
WHOLY CRAP!. You are the richest broke kid I have ever known!!! new scion, compleatly overhauld Green monstor in FL overhauling blue Z and now a M3? even at 400 bucks.. I wish I could be broke like you!!. I get buyers remorse on spending 175 on a downpipe!!.. you would have had fun at SEZS.. I wanted to run ya in your green monstor
I have one but I am using it as a silencer. I have a oval magnaflow out back.. you can hear how my Z sounds from the solo run of me from the SEZ5 vid link. My Z is pretty quiet and no droans inside the cabin. Works great as a silencer.
Tom, Worth Every Penny. With my turbo swap I have a motor with around 189k on it. Front mount, 60mm TB, LSD unit out back, stock ecu , stock injectors, Crush bent 2.5in exhaust and ran a 13.3@105 in the 1/4. Worth every penny for sure..
Peter Allnet (Pallnet) also has a nice intake and exhaust stud kit for sale for a great price.. They are 10.8 grade. I am running them on my Z and work great.. You can reach him at Pallnet@hotmail.com
Here is a link to his site..

The Down pipe flange is not just the run of the mill T3 flange. it has a offset hole to the bolts.. I looked on ebay already and came up empy handed. Thanks though.. Here is the Flange needed..
Well since I swapped the turbo motor in my Z.. I had to use the stock Cast Iron DP.. well some of it anyways.. I cut the bottom off. I had a peice of aluminized steel brazed to it so I could get the rest of my exhaust welded on. I know its not the best of things to do..When I pulled in my driveway last night the brazing broke and my exhaust came loose from the cast iron down pipe. Doing it this way was supposed to be a temp fix until I can afford to make my mandrel stainless system.. Now.. I am kinda in a pinch.. SEZS is 2 weeks away and I am here with a open DP.. Any thoughts on welding to the cast iron DP? or anyone know where I can get the correct steel nissan T3 flange fast..? I talked with Grayzee and I plan on getting a Stainless flange from him a little later so I can start my stainless exhaust.. but for now I just need to get this put back on to make the event!.. Thanks for any help..
