wow,this seems like a very selfish post.. You realize thousands and thousands of people are with out there homes and thousands are most likely dead. All you can think about are your gas prices.. I am sorry but that is a very selfish attitude. I live in Mobile with friends from NO and family in MS. and yes.. that post offended me. I am in Mobile and Ok.. My house is ok as well as my Z. We here really dodged another bullit. It is crazy here but NOTHING like it is over in MS and LA. Please Keep Peter Allnet and his MOM in your prayers.. His mom manages a Laquinta INN in New Orleans East.. she had to work.. I hope she is ok.. I have no power but I do at work.. So here I am..

Oh man this thing is Bad. We in mobile should be getting 100-140mph winds even. I sure wish I could have went surfing yesterday.. it was TRIPPLE Over head!!!heh.. today.. I would only go with a nissan head gaskets.. unless going with one of the metal ones. Zgad your running the HKS unit right? I also use copper spray even on my stock nissan gasket. Havent had any problems to speak of yet..

I really dont see the point? unless you were running 800+hp. Scottie seemed to run 10.08 with his 60 or so mm TB from his GN.. Just seems like it would be a lot of trouble for no real gain. I could be wrong, thats just my .02

You may want to be alittle more descriptive of the set up of the 3.1 stroker.. example, compression? forged internals? ported head? Turbo? non turbo? EFI? carbed?

Well, He is running SDS and having the BOV venting to atmosphere really wont matter. I say check and make sure the alt isnt over charging, also make sure all grounds are attached tightly. Go over every wire. There is a problem or a short or something in the wireing. but WOW.. 280rwhp at only 7psi is awesome man!!.. imagine when it is tuned to say 21psi!!!!!!!!! I say get her running perfectly at only 7 psi right now.. get her down to FL and try and tune her for more then. The most importent part is making it reliable for the long journey. Oleh, he is most likely going to AMS, Ivan works there now and was able to squeeze him in.. Good luck Garrett!!

Not all Z31s have T tops. A buddy of mine has a Z31 just like how you describe. Accpet it is black and it does not have T tops. What thats about is that there was a "anniversery Package" that was added on some Z31s. It has the crest and all. This is what the real 50th anniversery addition 300ZX looks like

1st and 2nd, 3rd is even sooner.. around 26-2700 rpms.. but usually when i am in 4th I dont drop anywhere near that low, Only if I am testing it.
